I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. If a bunch of Latin professors got together and bought a plot of land and decided to make it a commune where they would teach their children only Latin, and those children grew up and had kids with each other, etc...would Latin be no longer a dead language?
I don't even speak Latin XD

I speak a bit of Latin, but I've only been learning for about three months, so it's not too much. I do know over a hundred vocabulary words, though!

Yay! Happy hanukkah! I don't celebrate hanukkah, I celebrate christmas, but I love learning about hanukkah! It was one of my favorite things to learn about as a kid :3

YES! Also, chocolate coins! Aka gelt! We got soooooo many today at school. I probably collected about 25 coins? There are so many ways so spell Hanukkah! I'll go find a list.

According to *online quizzes,* I'm either Cottagecore or either Academia, but I don't think I'd really want to dress like that. Most of my classmates dress Emo, and they look AMAZING- but I don't feel Emo.

Yesterday I got my 2nd Covid shot so yay! But today I felt sick so I didn't go to school, so now I'm drinking tea for the first time ever and it's weird, because I don't like the taste of it but I still like it. If they made a cracker that tasted the same as tea, I wouldn't like it but tea as tea is good. Nothing super important has happened this week except everyone at my school is getting laptops for school and I got mine yesterday, and my friend has a girlfriend now. I'm really happy for her but also she still hasn't told her parents and said either they can find out on their own or she'll tell them when she moves away so yeah. I've tried to convince her that her parents will be fine with it because they're nice but she's scared. Eh, it's not really my business so I guess I shouldn't care that much. Wow that post got really long really fast
