I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

If I had a nickel for every time my band teacher mistook me for a flutist instead of a clarinetist, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
I feel like I've talked about this before, but I don't remember, so oH WELL!

I picked up the habit of saying that from my friends, and a lot of them are total phineas and ferb nerds, so it's more than possible XD

it's so annoying when you're watching a youtube video with headphones and the ads are so much louder than the actual video, so then it just starts blasting ads at you and you have to constantly be turning the volume up and down.

I just pressed the 'submitted by' thing twice on PP and it took me to the most recently submitted threads, and from there, I went back in time and read every thread that seemed interesting. I think I'm on page 159 so far, somewhere in 2015, and it's so cool to see how the CB has changed. Is it weird that I kind of feel like I know some of the older CBers now? Also- the thing about going from most recent to older threads is you see people's leaving threads before you know anything about them. It's weird.

Is anyone else going to summer camp this year? My parents signed me up because apparently I've been "lacking social interaction this past year" but the camp does look really cool. It's my first time going to a sleep-away camp and I'm really excited, especially for archery and swimming in the lake. It's going to be a really weird experience since we still have to wear masks most of the time and get tested for covid before we go and then a couple times at camp.

I am! I'm pretty sure we're going to wear masks/social distance, and we have to quarantine for two weeks before. I'm excited! (for the camp, not the quarantine XD)

Ooh! I go to sleep away camp! It's been one of the best experiences of my life, actually. Camp was cancelled last year because of covid, so I can't wait to go back! What if we happened to be going to the same camp? Now that would be ironic.

i am! and i've been three times before, but this time it's to a completely different camp than the other times, and for two weeks longer, so i'm pretty nervous, but excited too! if you want advice, i'd say:
1) be friendly and try to make friends fast, because being at camp without friends is not fun. however, there's always at least one nice person who'll hang out with you in your group, so even if you don't find the perfect friend, you'll have someone.
2) this may vary, but at least in my experience, you won't have time for taking care of your appearance other than the very basics. at all. so just don't worry about that.
3) try new things! don't worry about what people think of you! take risks and challenges (within safety ofc XD) cuz you might not have the chance to do them again!

That sounds really fun! Covid is definitely making things weird.
I'm not going to sleep away camps this year because of covid, but I am doing some day camps!
I'm doing Dance camp, surf camp (I live in southern california!), writing camp (like for helping you write your novel) and a camp at a state park where we go on lots of hikes and do outdoorsy stuff.
And also hahaha I think we've all been lacking social interaction lately - I've barely seen any of my friends in a year and a half!
