That's great! It can be a good way to get an instrument. The violins I was given were mostly useless, but there was one okay one that we might fix up as a spare.

Villager noises are strange. Also, my dad’s cat is clawing at my door and I don’t really want to let her in and it’s annoying. Very. Annoying.
