I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. In Harry Potter, why does everyone call each other by their last names if they're not friends? As far as I know, people don't really do that irl. Or is it a British thing?
Also, there is a disproportional number of white people with black hair in Harry Potter. Like, how many caucasian people do you know who have black hair? As long as I'm talking about this I might as well mention that, although Harry Potter is not all white, all the major characters are, at least.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a HP fan!

I don't remember that ever actually happening to me, but sometimes I imagine that one of the CBers is actually someone I know irl. XD I don't actually think that would happen, though.

Sometimes I really wish the CB had spellcheck, but usually I'm glad it doesn't because it requires me to put more effort into my spelling + grammar.
