I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

*ahem* sorry, Perry the platypus is just one of my favorite characters of all time. I even have a fedora that looks just like his: (technically, it's an Indiana jones fedora, but whatever.)

Okay, something weird happened to me yesterday. So I was listening to music and I was at the beginning of some random song, and I randomly remembered that there was a song I'd heard a long time ago that I really liked, but I could only remember one line "shine like golden embers in the night." Literally like 2 seconds after I thought this, those exact lyrics came up (forthe first time) in the song I was listening to. Sure enough, I checked and that was the same song I was thining of (it's by Mandolin Orange, the name of the song is the aformentioned lyrics). The funny thing is, my brain must have recognized the song even though I didn't realize it.
I don't know why I needed to type that up, but...

I had this awful nightmare the night before last where the CB was officially closed, or something to that effect. Instead of a submit a post or submit a comment button, there was only a link to the Admins' announcement and explanation. I think the gist of it was that they were shutting down all the sites for Cricket and the other mags in that age level, and either leaving them that way, or conjoining them. I was really sad and frustrated, especially since (in my dream) I had found a cool painting I had done that I wanted to share on the art thread. I was very relieved when I woke up and finally convinced myself that it hadn't happened!

Ugh that's one of my worst nightmares. Not that I've ever dreamed about it but I would be absolutely distraught if that happened

I was just reading my part of the feather from the jay rp-thingy and it's a little cringe but SO FREAKING GOOD OH MY GOODNESS. I never felt like I was an amazing writer, but when I see this that I wrote 2 years ago and still enjoy it's kind of inspiring. :D

I want to be a writer, but I'm probably not, becasue I can't think of anything else to write about.
I also really like cake. And Hershey;s Sundae Pie at Burger King. It's REALLY good.
I also have na announcement: THE CATS IN MY ROOM SOMEHOW FOUND MY LOST DIARY KEYS UNDER MY DESK!!!! HOW DID THEY GET THERE, I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'M KEEPING THEM SOMEWHERE WHERE I WON'T LOSE THEM AGAIN, AND WOW, I HAD THE WEIRDEST DREAM AGAIN!!!

Just because you can’t think of anything to write about doesn’t mean you’ll never be a writer. Writer’s block is very common. If you want to improve your writing skills but you can’t think of any original story ideas, there are a lot of writing prompt generators online. I use them a lot when I have writer’s block. Or you could ask other CBers for ideas! There are plenty of awesome writers on CB, and I’m sure they’d be glad to give you some writing ideas/tips. Though unfortunately, I wouldn’t be much help, as I’m also suffering from a loss of plot ideas.
