Tell me a
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Tell me a
Tell me a bit about you!
A lot of new CBers have joined recently, and what with my increased business in life and absence from CB (sadly), I haven't gotten a chance to know a lot of the new faces- some of the old faces too, even. And I really do! I really want to be able to connect with everyone on CB. So, here's a thead where you can tell me something about you that'd help bonds, with everyone in general. :)
Here's even a few questions you could answer! Not by any means a rigid format but rather a suggested prompt.
1. Who's in your family? What are they like?
2. What's your favorite hobby, or thing to do in your free time?
3. Favorite book? Author?
4.Tell me about the time when you met your best friend/someone you care about. :)
5. What's your favorite food?
6. Where do you live (country, area, etc. Nothing specific)?
My answers (to help you get to know me!):
1. Who's in your family? What are they like?
I have my mom, my dad, one sister, and my dog, Dex. My mom is a manager at an insurance company, but she used to be an artist and designer for Hallmark card company. She's a really good painter and still does dog portraits commissions in her spare time. My dad is a mechanical engineer at Black and Veatch, and he got his Master's Degree just a year or two ago. He knows a lot about math and science and that's probably where I get mine from. :) My sister is younger than me, 9 years old. She's really into fashion, drawing, and designing, and she's actually pretty good at it. My dog's name is Dex, and he's a Catahoula Leopard Hound (look them up- adorable!). We got him in 2015--two years ago, can you believe it??--and he's totally crazy but we love him anyways. <3
2. What's your favorite hobby, or thing to do in your free time?
Either reading or drawing, or writing. I've been super in drawing lately, probably because I got back into the Warriors series in December, and I think I've massively improved from last year.
3. Favorite book? Author?
Oh shoot, my favorite book is from the Wereworld series, though I doubt anyone has read it. Booky 5 or 6, one of the two. My favorite author, though, is probably JK Rowling or Tui T. Sutherland! I love them both!
4.Tell me about the time when you met your best friend/someone you care about. :)
This is kind of a funny story! She came to my school in 3rd grade as she'd moved earlier that year, and when we first met- we absoltutely each other! I wouldn't talk to her and vice versa, and then in 5th grade, for some reason we just suddenly were okay. My group of friends kinda formed in that year, and she happened to be in it. I went over to her house a ton, and we eventually became really close!
5. What's your favorite food?
6. Where do you live (country, area, etc. Nothing specific)?
I look forwards to reading all of your answers and learning about you guys! Admins can even answer a few if they like. :D

1. Who's in your family:
I have 5 siblings, so were 6 kids in total. The youngest 2 are like best friends and extreme trouble. I'm the 3rd youngest and 4th oldest. Kinda in the middle. My oldest brother is away in college, and the rest of my siblings are here full time. My mom is a school nurse and my dad works in a nursing home in the kitchen. We used to have a hamster, but he died:(
@elementgirl, youre right sibling are annoying, and sometime I REALLY wish they wern't there, when they not there for too long you kinda miss them. Maybe cuz its just lonely and quiet. Yes, I know... strange how the world works isn't it?
2. Favorite Hobby/things to do in free time:
I love to read, like most people on here. Cb, for one! And I really like sports, but not what most people think when they hear a sporty girl. I really enjoy spotrs like rockcliming, canoeing and hiking. I also love gymnastics, which I've been doing for several years. ALso like to paint and jewelry making. Also into acting. I'm gonna stop there so you don't get bored of reading this, but I could think of a bunch more:)
3. Favorite book/author:
Literally the hardest question in thw world: I don't know. There's too many in my mind.
4. Tell me about when you met your best friend:
I don't remember so much, since we met when we were 4 in preschool. We played together a lot in school, and I guess really like each other.
5. Favorite food:
Sushi!!! Yum...
6. Where do you live?
Albany, NY. People here say upstate. It's a nice small, quiet city with not much going on ever.

I'm 14(ish) I live in a house...okay, okay...I live in the country in USA. I have an older sister, a mom and a dad and some animals. I like climbing trees, running, reading, writing, ice skating, learning, being homeschooled, moving (physically), being with animals, riding horses (bareback is best!!), traveling (although I don't do it much), meeting people, exploring, swimming, drawing, playing in the creek, working on the farm, gardening, playing music, listening to music, dancing (I don't take classes I like to make up my own dances as I go), being with people and being alone, helping people, working (I don't have a choice so I guess I'll like it!), cooking, crafting, going to the library, trying new things, reading this! Oh and so much more!
I don't really have a "best friend" I have friends, but none of them are "best". I met most of them at a homeschool class I take. The others I met through being pen-pals or other friends or family. I met two of my pen-pals through the library, I met another through my grandmother, I met another through an art thingy and one through my sister. The newest I met through a note in a bottle that I found in our creek. (not kidding!) Another friend, and maybe my closest would be my boss. Most of these people are adults.
I like pretty much all food!

Oh, this is cool CL!
Wow....a lot of you really do have big families....sometimes I wish I had a younger sister to play with or older brother to beat up my enimies. *sighs* I can only dream....
1. Well my mom and dad are still living in one household with my little brother who is 11, almost 12 (wow...how times go fast) I had two dogs names Saber and Nava and a guinny pig named Nibbles who died when I was younger. Right now I have a almost-7-year-old blue-eyed huskey named Bella, and I see her as my little sister.
2. Ha....well I do this, so writing and drawing, and I'm also a totall girl jock person so sports! I did rugby and competitive dance earlyer in the season before my injurey, now I am doing Track and Feild which is WAAYYY harder then I thought it was going to be. I also skii on my freetime and am learning (slowly) how to snowboard. My main sport though is dance, and I'm dissapointed to take the season off. The doctor said it would be good to heal soo....*sighs*
3. Welp, I havent really read anything since middle school, so I'll just go with Erin Hunter. I got the seiries as a gift when I was in 4th grade and got all my friends reading it too. I only just finished the last one like....a year ago.
4. Well, our moms were at a yoga class and started hanging out, so that was the start of a beautiful friendship! That was....14 years ago? Yes, we were only a few months old when we met. ;) She started calling me her best friend when we were 2 and could talk better.
5. Well....I LOVE Sushi, rare stake, and muscles/clams. (couldnt choose one!)
6. Summit County, Colorado! The best place to live if you love skiing! (we have like *counts in head* 5 skii resorts, oh wait, 6 ski resorts in 30 muinites or less around us. :)
