I am in Alaska, so common core isn't supposed to be here. Buuutttt, Connections (my homeschool program thingy) snuck it in through the back door for testing, sooo I didn't do testing this year.

Well like in reading we had to write a 5 par. essay on fracking (yay or nay) but they gave us a 23 min long video full of info to use to write our essay for yay, but a 2 and a half min long video for nay. So it was like we had no choice. And like fracking is totally ok. AndI think the government is just tricking us al because the government is a bunch of meanie beanies. How do I know? (Aren't you so impressef?) I watch the news with my dad and... gah blah. Wrongness in America I tell ya. I'm probly waaaay more into politics then just about any ten yr old girl in the universe.

Question: If this is what CC teaches our grades, what are they teaching kindergarten? "Thsi is how you open a door?!?!!". Yes, I know about not every one getting it fast as me/is, but they should have harder math/reading for those that get it.
