Hey, uh, the reunion is in 2 days, and in the past we've always had a main thread for one? I'm a little early but I just think when old CBers begin to arrive, they ought to have somewhere to go… So, um, hi! I hope it's okay I'm making this thread if I'm a current CBer, I don't know if it's usually the old CBers that do it…
Anyways, hello, everyone! For anyone who doesn't know, every February 14th we have a reunion where old CBers pop in to say hi. It's really cool to see everyone!
For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Periwinkle, but most people just call me Peri. I'm a current CBer, here since January 2021. I use she/her pronouns, and you'll usually catch me working on my ski-lodge, giving advice on the Confessions thread, writing about my AEs, and occasionally sharing my poetry.
And for anyone looking for old reunion threads, here's a few. Thank you to Kitten for providing all these links last year so I only had to dig up the 2022 reunion, saved me a lot of time XD

Oh um hi. I'm slightly (actually, very) intimidated by the Great Wise and Seemingly All-Knowing Older CBers, but I want to say hello anyway (several days late, I know). I'm one of the newer CBers, like 1 year old and still learning! But sometimes I'm reading old threads and come across your names, and it's so cool to see the history of the CB and all the amazing people who are and were a part of it. Anyway, happy reunion! <3

I totally forgot about the valentine's day reunion! I hope I'm not too late. Anyway, I'm Agent Winter, I'm 15, and I use they/them pronouns! I'm an older CBer but I did briefly return to do picturings for awhile last year so i do recognize some of your names. It's made me quite emotional looking through the replies on this thread and seeing all the people from my generation of the chatterbox, haha. I wish I'd posted on this thread earlier so I could say hi to some of the oldies, but if there's anyone still here who recognizes me, hello! I've missed you!

It's good to hear from you, Winter. I actually think we decided the the reunion runs all of Valentine's week, because one day isn't long enough for all greetings and replies. You're definitely not too late.

i don't know if you remember me (hi! it's Lumi! i think we overlapped a bit) but you are, have been, and always will be a CB legend to me. i still imagine some CBers the way you drew them in picturings ahaha

it does feel kind of strange and sad to look through these comments- oldies who were around way before us, role models, friends, and never folks we don't even know all just happy to see each other- it's crazy how it works out!
What are you up to these days? I remember talking about all the hobbies and favorite movies and books we had, but I'm sure plenty of it's changed.

LUNA-STARR!! Hi!! To answer your questions, lately i've been working on playing guitar and getting into songwriting. I played some of my songs at a local open mic recently, which was pretty scary but ended up being really fun. And of course I'm still making art-- recently i've been taking a pottery class, which has been cool. I've been playing a lot of video games too, mainly Destiny 2 and Warframe. How have you been?

That's so cool! I've never been very good at guitar or songwriting; anyone who can do either is very impressive. I've tried composing things, but the music never translates from my head onto a computer or a music staff quite right. And I always loved your art, it was awesome to see it improve as time went on.
I've been way busy! I'm part of lots of clubs and such- book club, service club, scouts, choir, jazz choir, band, theater, scholastic bowl and academic challenge. I've been having lots of fun with it though- we have a new band teacher this year and I lover her, our pieces are so fun. Spring musical (Willy Wonka) is pretty good, but for fall drama we did Shakespeare's "A Comedy of Errors" and it was actually so much fun! I had a small part, but my character was very sassy and gossipy, which was so much fun to play.

oh that's awesome-- i miss being in plays, i used to be somewhat of a theater kid when i was younger. i'm going to a different school this fall, so maybe i'll get back into theater then. and thank you for the compliments btw! im not great at guitar yet, but i'm getting better. and my art has definitely gotten better over the past year... hmm, maybe i'll post something on the art posting thread while i'm visiting.

I missed you too! I'm doing pretty well myself, though I can relate to the school kicking your butt thing. I'm in college at the moment, and the homework can get to be a lot. I hope the rest of your school year goes well!

Hi AW, it's so good to see you again!!! Yeah, sometimes I forget just how much I miss the old crew...
There are so many people I want to reply to on this thread that I'm overwhelmed by the prospect and mostly have to just read what everyone else is writing. *sigh*
and soon enough everyone will just disappear for another year or more or forever...
where is the time going? I want to go there too...

Hey, Winter! I'm not sure we interacted all too often while I was on the CB, but I definitely remember you! I loved your picturings and artwork. I think you may have drawn a few characters of mine before; I believe I have them saved in a folder somewhere. Just gotta remember the file names, haha. Anyway, it's really good to hear from you again! I hope everything is going well for you.

Hey Sybill! I remember you! It's cool to hear that there are people who really liked my picturings back in the day-- when i was younger, i remember feeling like i was terrible at drawing compared to everyone else here, even though in retrospect I really wasn't that bad. So it's really sweet to hear that people liked my picturings, especially now that I'm more confident in my art skills, you know? Anyway, it's been great hearing from you and everyone else, and I hope everything is going well for you too!
