Hi there! Secret here, at your service.
Anyway, this thread is a place to rant about anything. Anything. Go ahead, rant about how your favorite character died, your bad teachers, your friends, drama at your school, whatever. No judgement here. People can give you advice, relate to you, or come up with a much worse scenario to make you feel better.

Okay, maybe not that.
But feel free to talk about whatever here. I'll start. I have a test tomorrow on African History, and my teacher was supposed to put every slideshow or resource that we used in class in our Google Classroom. What I normally do during that class is take notes during class time, then go back and take more notes on info that I missed, or just some more detail. Today, the day before, I wanted to take one last look at what we covered in the unit. But not one slideshow/resource is there. Not a single one. The test is tomorrow and makes up like 50% of our grade. I've emailed my teacher about it, but I still have no idea what to do and I'm freaking out. This teacher always has been a little weird, but this is the last straw. I literally cannot stand her. ARGH!

Ok you're probably not gonna see this, but the way I do it is multiply it like normal, then count the decimal places in each number, then use the combined number of decimal places in the answer.
EX: 1.2 times 0.8. First, ignore the decimals, so 12 times 8 = 96. Next, count the decimal places in each number. 1.2 has one, and 0.8 has one. There are two decimal places in all, so 96 becomes 0.96.

One of my guinea pigs is limping and losing weight and I think she has a bone disease thing that happens in satins (which she is) and she needs to go to the vet but we can't go until at least next week and I have to be at my dad's house during the weekend which is really stressful and I just want her to be okay :(

just gonna a rant about my science teacher for a sec-
he's late SO often. one time we needed jars for an experiment, and he brought a bunch of dirty jars. they were really gross, and I don't know what he did to them XD the had a bunch of dirt and cobwebs in them... anywho, he told us to go wash them, and of course we did that, but then we had to start class like 20 minutes late!! because he made us wash his dishes >:( and another time, we needed red cabbage water for and experiment, and guess what he brought instead? cranberry juice. argh I can't wait untill I'm done with this horid class. thankfully I only have three left but argh..

OMG! Totally relate! We had a music teacher once, and she told us to "Shut UP" and ima like bruh I didn't even talk yet! She was soooo boring and to be honest, probably the WORST teacher I ever had. On a regluar basis in our music class (Whew not currently tho, that wuz last year) was SHUT UPS and You know, my morning class was MUCH better than this, and I WILL CANCEL YOUR RECESS TIME AND I CAN. I mean, just wow. JUST WOW. I mean, there were only like 2 people that were talking out of turn, and the WHOLEEE class gets the "SHUT UP" treatment. And we lost like 3 recesses out of the 10 we had each week. SO.... I FEEL YOUR PAINNNN
(And it might sound like im exxagerating or making it up. IM NOT. )

And I can totally relate to you! I used to have this absolutely HORRID music teacher! Urgh, good riddence to YOU, Mrs. whatever-you-name-is-I-forget-but-you-were-the-worst-anyways-music-teacher!!! :P

My family is really, really careful when it comes to COVID. I hardly ever see friends, I cringe when people's masks are below their noses, every time I see someone acting in the wrong way, I feel the urge to yell at them very loudly. My friends, on the other hand... they literally don't seem to notice there's a pandemic going on at all. They fly in planes, they meet up at restaurants (masks off, about one foot apart), and have indoor sleepovers. As you might imagine, I get jealous sometimes. But the worst part is this: our school started off as virtual, yay! Then it went to hybrid, boo. Naturally, I did not go back to school in the hybrid module, but all but one or two (if you count a friend I never talk to) of my friends did. This, again, caused some jealousy in me, and some excitement in them. At lease I could vent to that one close friend who wasn't going back. Guess what, it gets worse! In April most of the students are going back full-time. Double boo! And then I found out that my close friend, who I could always relate to, who didn't go to hybrid, was going back full time. I cried, we talked, I pretended I was fine. Nope! This was like a week ago, and I'm still mad and worried, because with three people per class in virtual, what will my quality of learning be like? Probably very very very very bad. And like Azalea, I'm also worried that I won't have any friends next year, as all of my current ones are getting closer as I'm drifting away, and I'm terrible at making friends. Anyway, that concludes my lengthy and weirdly story-like rant. Can anybody relate?

I can definitely relate with the friend thing. My advice? When you go back to school, try making friends with one of the quiet kids/loners. Chances are, they're probably not that great at making friends. Who knows, maybe you guys have something in common or something.
As for trying to talk to someone, ask them their favorite WHATEVER. Book, movie, TV show, music, anything.
To try to reconnect to friends COVID-safely, maybe ask them to FaceTime, or maybe go on a walk with them (with masks).

If you are nervous about going back in-person, as long as you make sure to take all the precautions it should be pretty safe. (I am pretty cautious with the pandemic.)

Oh. My. Goodness! I am in the exact same situation as you. Like so exact that it's almost scary. I actually just went back to soccer practice recently, and it was cool, but I just felt so out of the loop! My mother keeps talking to me about friendships and how they're so important, but there is only really one person I can rely on right now, and I feel like I can really connect/relate to, and that's Morning. If you ever need someone to rant to, I'm here for you!!
