Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
CB Quest!I a
CB Quest!
I already made this, but I had to go on vacation, so I couldn't write. This is not an RP; this is a story.
Once apon a time, the CB was peaceful and happy... Each section of the CB was shared equally. Then came the times of the glitch. The Glitch was a powerful coding error that made fake CBers who eventually tried to take over.
With the help of Abi's trusty soapbox, the Glitch was stopped, but then we had a new problem (the Glitch was just a backstory)....all of the CBers were confused. They yelled at eachother. Accused eachother. And in the middle of this, a Guardian decided that they would seal the Soapbox away for the good of the Chatterbox!
Three brave MC CBers decided to go on a quest to find it. But then, the Guardian invited YOU to meet him/her in his/her cottage, where He/She tells you she/he will allow you to find the soapbox, and then shows you a golden bag. She/he says that if you find an item from each area--A magical Theater Mask from Pudding's Place, a spellbook from Blab About Books, a small globe from Down to Earth, and a bottle of magical ink that never runs out or spills from the Inkwell, the bag will open, and the soapbox will be found.
One of the MCs has been friends with the Guardian many years, and convinces the other 2 to agree.
This is interactive. There will be riddles and clues, and YOU YOURSELF have to solve them. Here is the charrie sheet. We will be accepting seven charecters--four MCs (one MC is the Guardian) and the rest are secondary/tetiaries. I might make your AEs and CAPTCHAs randomly appear. Here's the Charrie Sheet.

~Mei-Xue
"Gargoyle!" Mei yelled as she threw herself behind one of the rubble piles--a pile consisting mostly of rusted car parts. The leathery, bat-like creature was swooping down. "Novel, toss the bag!" Mei yelled. The golden bag sailed, hitting her very lightly on the head. Whatever was in it must be enchanted to not weigh a thing.
The key to Gargoyles was to keep silent; everyone where Mei came from knew that. Gargoyles follow you on sound waves, and their eyes are sensitive to light. As this was happening in the middle of the night, light couldn't be found. She would have to make a risk.
She rummaged in her purse, moving her hands around untill she found it--her Harry Potter wand! She closed her hand around it, and thought, very bravely, in her hair--Lumos. Lumos. Lumos. Darn..she wasn't quite good enough to master that type of spell. Lumos, Lumos, LUMOS! LUMOS! LUMOS! She sighed and raised her voice.
"LUMOS!" A little bit of light flew from the tip of her wand at the Gargoyle. And it followed the light and flew right at her, it's leathery, gray wings creaking as it flew, like an unoiled hinge.
"Mei! Here!" Novelist yelled from behind an ajoining rubble pile. Mei tossed the golden bag towards Novelist as she blindly pointed her wand at the Gargoyle. "Nox." She said. What use would it be to her? "Mei!" Booksy shrieked from somewhere--she couldn't see where--bringing her back to the present. The Gargoyle flew towards her, claws outstretched, creaking and roaring and hissing and snapping all at the same time. It's gray claws bared down on her....
And she rolled, escaping an inch away from its claws as they were stuck in an old car fender, stuck in about four inches deep. it roared and hissed, harmonizing with itself in a horrible cacaphony, and flung the fender off it's claws. The fender sailed towards Novelist, and she barely dove out of the way--but did a rusted peice of metal hit her arm? It was bleeding!
Focus, Mei, focus. She darted around the Gargoyle--and got a glance of Booksy, who was behind a rubble pile, seemingly trying to make a weapon out of rubble. Booksy made a little butterfly with her hands and flew it. What? Oh, fly.
Mei flapped her fairy wings and threw a hairbrush from her purse at the Gargoyle. It easily dodged. For a big, evil, grey, leathery bat-dragon, it was good at dodging. She groaned. Where was a weapon when she needed one?!
She heard Novelist croak in pain, and whirled in midair. That was definitely a wound on her arm--
She had forgotten the Gargoyle. It smacked her, with it's claws, and she was literally smacked to the earth, hitting an old tire. For a few impossibly scary seconds she couldn't breathe, and then breath returned to her lungs. She was going to die....
Oh? Her purse lay next to her. Her copy of Harry Potter lay, open, spilled out of it, and her wand was still in her hand. She sighed. Better get some reading done before she died. And then her eyes flicked to the page, and one spell caught her eye. She sighed, a little, happy sound.
The Gargoyle came down like a dart, flying at her. She saw Booksy scream and run towards her, but she knew Booksy wouldn't reach her in time. The Gargoyle pinned her (Mei-Xue) down with her claws, roared in her face, and--
Mei brandished the wand. "Lumos Maximus!" The Gargoyle shrieked from the light and let go of his grip on her to claw it's face. "How do you like that?!" She yelled. And then--"INCINDIO!!!" Fire jetted from her wand and at it, and it's leathery flesh turned more gray, more cold to the touch, solidifying, and suddenly solid in a rearing position. It was stone.
But still she didn't stop. "LUMOS MAXIMUS! INCINDIO! LUMOS!" Suddenly a gentle hand took hold of her wrist. Booksy. "it's okay, he's gone." Mei nodded weakly and promptly fainted. For the second time in a week. The last thoughts that drifted through her head before unconciousness rained supreme were that she had better not make a habit of it...

The girls were finally back at the Guardians castle. "Here's the first artifact." Booksy said, handing Icy the bag. "Too light." Icy said as soon as she had it.
"What?"
"Too light." She opened the bag and showed them--there was nothing inside.
"ATHENA!!!!!!"
