Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Any good books?
Does anybody know...

Does anybody know of any good books? I'm not looking for any type in particular, just something fun to read. Thanks!

I would recommend The Princess Academy by Shannon Hale, The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale, and The Book of a Thousand Days by (once again) Shannon Hale. She gives fairytales a major facelift and turns them into novels that I couldn't put down for hours! Also, I enjoyed The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken. (Yes, I know it sounds a bit creepy, but it isn't at all.) Happy reading!

The Artemis Fowl series is great--that's my opinion, anyway. I'm in the middle of the sixth book right now. It came out a month ago, but i was away. It came out two days after I left, and I was soooo mad.......anyway, irrelevant. Great series.

Artemis Fowl, by Eoin Colfer, is a very exciting book! I have only read the first five in the series, though. Is the sixth one good?

Maddy, in my humble opinion, the sixth Artemis Fowl book is the best in the series!!!

Hi Nessiya,

I couldn't help but notice you live in Canada, which is where I'm from. This is not remotely relevant to books, but where in Canada do you live?

I loved Swordbird by Nancy Yi Fan.  The Magic Circle books by Tamora Pierce are also very good.  If you want even more check out The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor; anything by Avi and the Bartimaeus Trilogy.

Yay somebody else loves Septimus Heap books!  They are so great. I love them!  You wouldn't think they'd be good (if you judge a book by its cover) but they are good.  If you liked these then I would recommend the Magic Circle books by Tamora Pierce.

I don't know the title or anything but there will probably be a sequel.  I mean, you can tell that it's not over!  I'm not really sure but I hope there will be a next one!!!
