Book Club
I know there...
I know there used to be a book club in the Chatterbox, but I don't know if it's still up and running, so I decided to start another one. If it is still alive, then now there are two! If not, then this is a second chance for a Chatterbox book club to exist. :)
The last I heard, there was a group reading Treasure Island. But it was awhile ago (1 or 2 months?) and I don't remember seeing any comments beyond chapter 1 or 2.

Oh, I'll join! My book club died slightly... :-)
My book recommendation is The Hunger Games. I would prefer to read the first book. The only thing is that it isn't appropriate until you're twelve and over or something so maybe we shouldn't read it...

May I join? I like your idea about voting on the books. What about The Penderwicks? If too many people have already read that, we can read the next two Penderwicks books. If I have any more ideas, I'll tell them to you. And why don't we make a schedule so that this thread doesn't die as easily. :-)

How about a book by Gail Carson Levine? I think I have most of her books already, so it would be easy for me to gain access to one.

I'd love to join! Some of my favorite books are The Sisters Grimm and Artemis Fowl, but it might be good to choose something that none of us have read yet. The Hunger Games sounds like a really good idea to me!
