Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Harry Potter
Yes I am...

Yes I am still in existance.  Just... ummm... I got nothing.  Anyway...

E. W. and I have started reading the Harry Potter series.  I'm a little over half-way done with the 1st book. Elizabeth was in the fourth book last time I checked (she started reading them a week ago.  I wonder if she even eats.).  So far it's really good!  It's right up there with the Inheritance series (no comments please)!  What do you guys think is the best book?  What house do you think you should be in.  I'm probably Hufflepuff.  I would've posted on the other Harry Potter blog but nobody would see my post because it's so crammed.

Holy cow, I thought I did a short post!!!  Man.

It sounds like I said that all in one breath.  Heh

Hello, Charlotte. And, yes, I do eat. I read while I eat. I'm in Slytherin (big surprise, not), and I'm now in the middle of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It hasn't said who the Half-Blood Prince is, yet, but I think it's probably Voldemort. That's terrible how Ron always snogs Lavender! It's gross! You can totally tell that Harry likes Ginny, and that Hermione likes Ron, and vice versa on the last one.

Just because you don't like Warriors RPs doesn't give you the right to laugh at people who do. And since this is an online forum, it is posible to laugh at someone privately, and there is therefore no reason for you not to be able to refrain yourself from telling the entire world that you laughed at this person. Why, then, did you make that post?

Ah, come on guys, don't jump on Orangeflame! She's just trying to help her Warriors RP! ...TNO, were you jumping on somebuggy or Orangeflame?

Anyway, I have a confession to make. *takes deep breath* I not only read the Warriors series, I RP in two threads, in CrystalClan as Stormberry, and in LavaClan as Darkpaw. So yep. I'm a cat. It's not that bad, actually. Some people are quite good!

Well... It's not that, exactly. I mean, I RP, too, as do many people that also post on regular threads, and no one thinks there's anything wrong with that. (It's making so many new Clans that we had problems with, and then only because we had little room for our other posts.) It's more that Orangeflame was making an entire comment dedicated to RPing on an unrelated thread. It's... trolling. (I'm not sure whether or not you've heard of that yet, but if not, it basically means putting unproductive, often rude comments on threads that don't need such posts. When TNO called Orangeflame - I think it was Orangeflame, anyway - a troll, that's what she meant, not a troll troll).

But Orangeflame's RP thread needs people to post! He wasn't trying to push this thread to the back, like those people before - and I'm absolutely positive on this, because he did this on Warriors threads, too. And wasn't somebuggy trolling even more than Orangeflame?

Anyway, let's talk about HP. Where is this House quiz everyone keeps talking about? I want to take it!

Both.

It's not Warriors I mind. Heck, I quite liked the first six (not so much the rest of them). It's the trolling.

@Ima: There's a few of them floating around out the on the Internet, all fan-made, I believe. You can google something like "Harry Potter house test" and stuff will come up. I can't remember where I took the one I did, but it was really pathetic. There are some better ones, though; you just have to look around until you find one worth taking.

I HAVE NEWS!!!!!  Though, I think this thread is dead, so no one but Admin will probably read this....

Passage from the Deathly Hallows, which I've just now gotten to:

The speaker was seated directly in front of the fireplace, so that it was difficult, at first, for the new arrivals to make out more than his silhouette.  As they drew nearer, however, his face shone through the gloom, HAIRLESS, snakelike, with slits for nostrils and gleaming red eyes whose pupils were vertical.  He was so pale that he seemed to emit a pearly glow.

I saw it! I saw it! :)

Although really, it's still not clear whether his face was hairless, or his entire head.

...What part of the book is that from, again?
