I've read all of the Harry Potter books and I love them so much! I have read hundreds of books and over the summer. I read a book every day, but the Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling is by far my favorite. I love the way the characters develope and change throughout the novels. I also love all of the interesting names and creatures that flow from J.K.Rowling's imagination and into the book. When I read it, sometimes I cried, feeling the characters as if they were a part of me. Also when I read it, I felt as if I was in the story, where everyone was my friend and they all liked me for who I was, which doesn't always happen in real life. I love the books so much, I have memorized whole chapters and I can flip open to any page and go on a two-hour rant about it--(No, seriously, I timed myself and it was two hours and ten minutes!) I love the way everything fits together so smoothly and I love the way J.K. Rowling uses foreshadowing to a great wonder of all of her readers. I love them so much! Please read them if you haven't, and I am sure that you will fall in love with them the way I have! The movies are great represntors of the books as well; there are currently six movies out, and seven books, although they are making the seventh book into two movies becuase it is so long!

Dad saw that I used the American word "cookie" instead of the British word "biscuit." i was just trying to be nice, seeing as most of you are from America, but Dad gave me a lecture. I don't recall what it was about actually, so now I feel compelled to give an appology to those of you that are British, so immensly sorry!

@Elizabeth: What do British say when they are talking about like a biscuit you eat at breakfast? And is it sometimes hard to understand the American CBers because of the different way we say things?

Elizabeth, I bet we would be good friends!!! It's sooo weird becuase my best friend's name is Elisabeth (Although, it's spelled with an S instead of a Z) But my middle name is Elizabeth with a Z!! I can understand how you don't feel the same as I do, since everyone's opinions are different!!
Oh, by the way, Hannah, I love the way you add in random comments about different books you have read! (I read those books too!) But remember, this is an HP thread!!!! JK!!!!!!

I think she meant "Compulsive". We went to Best Buy the other day and all of the TV's in the TV section were playing Harry Potter, except one that was playing Twilight. I couldn't tell which HP they were playing, though. It might have been the new one.

Really? I thought I was the world's biggest HP fan. LOL. I'm not allowed to read/watch Twilight. But I don't care. I'm SO angry that it's taking the limelight away from Harry Potter!!!!!!!!!!! Harry Potter is TEN TIMES BETTER I'M SURE!!!!!!!!!! What's the moral of Twilight????? Does it have as much depth to it as Harry Potter does??? And i heard twi vampires don't drink blood! What's up with that?? Vampires have ALWAYS drank blood! And now people are calling vampires who drink blood "old-school". But I don't care what people say, i will still think that vampires drink blood. Sorry that I blew up about Twilight. I am sorry to whomever I offended. I just get really angry that people think twi is better than Harry Potter. Especially because it has many more elements and depth to it than twi.

@ Hannah- Twilight doesn't have 1/7685976589478574895746897589376 the depth of HP. It doesn't make you think like HP does, it doesn't make you feel like you're actually in the story like HP does, it doesn't make you love or hate the characters like HP does. It's mind-candy. Period.

Okay, Hannah, Twilight vampires DO drink blood, it's just that the Cullen family (Edward's family) doesn't drink HUMAN blood!!!
And second of all, HP is A HUNDERED THOUSAND MILLION GOOGOL times better than Twilight. *ugh* Twilight can't even compare with HP's amazingness!!!!!
P.S. I know amazingness isn't a word, but I've just made it one!!! (Only when you're talking about HP, of course!!!
