Would You Rather: Book Edition
On this thread...
On this thread we can ask each other book-related would you rather questions!
I'll start:
Would you rather spend a day with Harry Potter or Percy Jackson?

Very un-famous with a good book. I'd rather to know my book was actually good than have it be popular. Also, it may become popular someday. You never know!
Falcon says mozpw. Maz...like Maz Kanata??
Jeez, even my CAPTCHA is making Star Wars references XD

Second choice easily. I'd be more proud of it as a whole. Also, I'd still have a tiny fanbase, and sometimes smaller is a bit better XD.

That question is tricky.
I want my books to be good, but if I was an adult and I had no other job but being an author, I might choose the first one, because I need money to survive and if writing bad books is what it takes then maybe?!
But at the same time, I want my books to be good. Even if that means me not being famous.
I don't know. It's hard.

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess as a kid it's kind of hard to tell how you'd feel if it were ACTUALLY your job.

Hmm... Probably Percy Jackson. I love the world of HArry Potter and whatnot, but I would probably learn a bit more in a day from Percy Jackson.
I would also definitely rather read a book where the author got the words there, they're, and their mixed up just because many years ago, I had a Warriors book I had never read before and my cat shredded one of the pages and while it isn't too important (actually its hardly important at all xD) i find it very annoying to have to skip a page.

Would you rather re-read your favorite book (or book series) or read a new book?
(This is actually really hard for me. I mean, sure, I've read Wings Of Fire so many times, but why not another? But I love reading more...)

Aaah that's hard.....maybe reread??
(September 21, 2021 - 5:28 pm)
Read a new book. Wings of Fire is my favorite book series too, but over the pandemic when I was broke and libraries were closed, I read every book in my house 30000000 times. (And I read at the speed of light, so that's probably only a couple zeroes off;P) So I'm currently dying of new book starvation.
Would you rather be a LeafWing with leafspeak or a SilkWing with flamesilk?

Ooh do you need book recommendations? ;) what are your favorite genres?
(October 5, 2021 - 10:55 am)
Hmm... Leafwing, I think. It'd be cool.
(October 15, 2021 - 7:42 pm)
1. Percy Jackson. I've never read a Harry Potter book al the way through XD
2. UH-- Um, maybe a page missing? I can usually catch onto the plot quickly, and I would have to correct the grammar every time if I choose the other...
3. OOH-HOO-HOO have my class (if I was in-person) read my favorite book! Or, one of my favorite books. I'd choose Bettle and The Hallowbones.
4. The character, for sure. I wonder who'd it be?
5. Oh, unpopular for sure. Some of the best books are! Y'know, like WondLa, The Witch Boy, ETC.
6. Read a new book! I love finding new things to read.
7. What? XD
(October 4, 2021 - 2:24 pm)
Definitely my favorite is fantasy. I love most other books too though.
Basically, I'll read any genre if a) it's not one of those books where the dog dies at the end b) it's a good book c) it's not nonfiction or historical fiction
(October 5, 2021 - 4:25 pm)
I'd rather be a LeafWing with leafspeak. I really like learning about plants.
(October 10, 2021 - 9:13 am)
Harry Potter! Maybe it would turn out that I have magic!
