@ MaryW: I'm sure I helped. Was she the one who put as her intro that she was a member of Team Edward? *chuckles, feeling like criminal leader fondly remembering victems*.
@BuksRul: I did not intend to come of as savage rude. Sorry.

Reuben, it's okay. Although I agree with my friend, your apology is accepted. Sometimes she thinks I'm being mean when I'm not trying to be.

*cough* Kettle. *cough* Black. *cough* We're immature?
I'd be more inclined to take you seriously if I didn't have to work to understand what you wrote.

i lik 2 rite lik this. its mor fun that way. and quit it. BuksRul (Charlotte) thinks that i am 1 of the most serEus pEpul she nos
(July 21, 2009 - 6:23 pm)
I don't give a flying rat what Charlotte thinks of you. Just because she thinks you're "serEus" doesn't mean I have to take you seriously.

It's fun to make your writing hard to read? I never knew that...
You won't get much attention on Chatterbox if you write like that. It's not as if you're in a competition to write fast. Also, since when have we insulted Charlotte (Thank you for changing you name. BuksRul is a little hard to pronounce when you see it) and not apologized? Charlotte has had some rage at us, but we didn't yell at her or attack or threaten her. I'm not making any judgements about the people who like Eragon, in fact, it might be good. They'll like that type of plot, and then find LOtR, and like it even more! Then, they might invent their own plot that's more interesting, and become a great writer!

Definitely TNO
(July 22, 2009 - 7:37 am)
Look, I love Eragon myself, and I do think that Mary, TNO, and Reuben were being... pretty rude (sorry). But... so was BuksRul! You can't force anyone to like a book just because you do! Eraagon's 1 of my favourite books, but I understand that if someone doesn't like it, that's just their opinion! (That's why I stopped posting in that Eragon debate that happened about a month ago...) There are people who love a book, and people who hate it. I think there's been rudeness on both sides, and this whole thing should just stop! Please!
(July 21, 2009 - 9:34 am)
OK. Look. I mever said it was bad because it was his first book. I said it was unoriginal. I didn't bash people who like it. I have nothing against first books; I've read many good ones. I have nothing against homeschooled people. Please stop twisting my arguements. I HAVE NOT BEEN SAVAGE RUDE!!!

@ Pirocks: Thank you. :)
@ E.W.: Please... this is a book discussion forum on a literary website. Why type "wuz" when you could type "was"? Was is quicker! The letters are right next to each other! It's almost like the keyboard is trying to make proper spelling easy for us!
@ Ima: There is nothing wrong with constructive debate.
@ Everyone accusing Reuben and I of being rude: Name three examples, please.
@ Reuben: Hm... You scared Mara off, but I think Mathilda was mostly my fault. I don't remember who put "team Edward" on their post... I don't think it was either of them, though. ...I should probably stop, now. :)
Also: Once again, I have nothing against homeschoolers. While I do not believe that homeschooling is always a good thing, it is the parent' choice and I bear no grudge against anyone who has made such a choice. Clear, now?
And also: No. I'm not saying Eragon is a horrible book because it's a debut. Debuts are good! HP1 was good, the first SkulPle was good, Eye of the Crow was good... I could go on and on. Paolini could have written a dozen other books and I would still dislike Eragon. Can we all accept that this is my opinion?
Again, no disrespect intended. Please post this, Administrator.
