-The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
This series is set in a magical world peopled by humans, elves, dwarves, and other fantastical people. In a time when dragons are practically extinct, a boy named Eragon finds and hatches a dragon egg. This series covers the story of his journey to become a dragon rider, one of the legendary warriors of good, and the quests of a group of rebels to overthrow the evil king. It is really great and exciting, you should read it!
-The Cronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis
These series of fantasy books tell of the land of Narnia and the adventures of various sets of British children who travel there. They are classics that are enjoyable storys while also dealing with moral values and the principes of magic. C. S. Lewis writes in a fun and engaging style, I think you'd really enjoy these books!

Oh, I also really liked the Neptune Challenge. It's a book set in a futuristic world where humans are dieting out because global warming has gotten extreme, so some scientists decide to genetically engineer their children to be able to breath underwater they called it the Neptune Project. This top secret project was done against government orders, and the government is trying to hunt down all of the children involved. The kids have to join together after their parents are killed to get to an underwater base where they can live.
