Calling all book-lovers!! This thread is going to be a list of books that have been recommnded by anyone who wants to! Feel free to recommend any books that you have read or are reading currently. You can include a summary if you want, but you do not have to. I'll start:

Mine's a little different.

I like Like a River by Kathy Cannon Weishman. It's about two teenagers during the Civil War.

How can I start... there's so many good ones...

The Fablehaven series, by Brandon Mull (ESPECIALLY the 5th book... best epic battle scene ever!!!)

EGG and Spoon by Gregory Maguire

The Harry Potter series... of course!!! (by J.K Rowling, which you already knew)

The Apothercary series by Maile Maloy

Watership Down by Richard Adams I read it 3 times in a row so that proves it's awesome

The Hunger Games series, by Suzanne Colins

The Divergent series, by Veronica Roth

(oh my gosh this is so hard there are so many I'm forgetting and so many that are good...)

The Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart... quite amazing

The Wildwood series by Colin Meloy

His Dark Materials series, by Phillip Pullman (who my brother calls Phillip Polar bear)

The Septimus Heap series, by Angie Sage

And many many many many many many many many many many many MANY more... I love almost every book I read, so there are a lot... these are some of my very favorites, and some of the most recent ones that I've read.

I've read 90% of the books you just listed! I haven't read Watership Down though-sadly, I haven't read many Classics.

I love everything on here!!! (except I haven't read Out Of The Easy) Ruta Septeys has a newish book now, Salt to the Sea. It's such an amazing book.
