Harry Potter Trivia
Open to all...
Open to all Potterheads!!!!
Here are the rules:
-You have to have read all the books.
-DO NOT comment until you can see the latest comment. We don't want to get mixed up.
-No questions that aren't in the series; e.x: what's Hermione's favorite food?
-NO CONSULTING THE BOOKS. IT'S CHEATING.
I think the rest is self-explanitory; you answer the trivia question, then post one of you own.

A... Fistful of wriggling green tubers? Something along those lines.

(January 29, 2019 - 12:14 am)
Protego! The charm that can deflect weak curses.

Which Weasleys come with Mr. Weasly to pick up Harry for the Quidditch World Cup?
(January 30, 2019 - 6:08 pm)
Fred, George, and Ron.
When said Weasleys come to pick up Harry for the Quidditch World Cup, what candy do Fred and George give Dudley, and what effect does it have?
(January 30, 2019 - 9:19 pm)
A ton-tongue toffe, and it makes Dudley’s tongue swell to several times it’s original size.
What candy did Fred and George accidentally give someone (I think Angelina) during a Quidditch practice? They meant to give her the healing end of a nosebleed nougat, but what did they actually give her?
(January 30, 2019 - 11:15 pm)
It's the one that makes blood come out way more like... Bleeding... Blistering... argh! Not sure if that was enough to be able to post another question. So I guess I'll wait and see if someone else knows it exactly!
Velia says dwuh... duh?
(January 31, 2019 - 11:14 am)
You’re rather close. It’s a blood blisterpod.
Meh, what’s Albus Dumbledore’s full name? Bonus: Where did JK get the name Dumbledore from?
(January 31, 2019 - 11:23 pm)
Albus Percival Brian Wulfric Dumbledore.
The middle names might not be in order, but I think that's right? No idea where JK got them.
Next question: What does Hermione say after Harry tells her and Ron about his first kiss, after she explains why Cho was crying?
(February 1, 2019 - 7:10 pm)
She responds to Ron "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon Ron, it doesn't mean everyone else does."
Jk got it because Dumbledore actually means "Busy bee."
What is Professor Lockhart's favorite color?
Bonus: what would be his ideal birthday present (and what would he not say no to either)?
(February 3, 2019 - 8:57 pm)
“Tut-tut. Hardly any of you remembered that my favorite color is lilac. I said so in Year with a Yeti.”
Peace between magical and non-magical people, though I wouldn’t say no to a large bottle of Ogden’s firewhisky! *said with a rogueish wink*
Also, Dumbledore is Scottish (maybe Old Scottish) for “bumblebee”.
What’s the first question on Harry’s Charms OWLs?
(February 3, 2019 - 10:20 pm)
It's about wingardium leviosa, but I don't remember the exact wording. Hopefully, this is okay!
Why does Ron end up barfing slugs in the second book?
(February 4, 2019 - 11:38 am)
He tries to curse Malfoy for calling Hermione a Mudblood! But then his wand backfires, since he broke it (Womping Willow).
What does the Amortentia potion in Slughorn's class smell like to Hermione?
(February 4, 2019 - 11:14 pm)
Oh, I know this! It smells like freshly mown grass and, agh, one other thing, and then the third one (which she doesn't say) is Ron's hair.
(February 5, 2019 - 12:33 pm)
@Kitten, the third thing was fresh parchment.
