Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Harry Potter Trivia
Open to all...

Open to all Potterheads!!!!

Here are the rules:
-You have to have read all the books.

-DO NOT comment until you can see the latest comment. We don't want to get mixed up.

-No questions that aren't in the series; e.x: what's Hermione's favorite food?

-NO CONSULTING THE BOOKS. IT'S CHEATING.

I think the rest is self-explanitory; you answer the trivia question, then post one of you own.

Question: Name all 7 Horcruxes.

He says it's on the seventh floor, and that you have to think of exactly what you want it to do. (I'm not sure if that's what he actually said, that's just what I know about it.)

What were Sirius's parent's names?

Well, his mother's name was Wallburga Black. I don't know if we were ever told what his father''s name was.

Next question! Erm... What do O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. stand for?

Ordinary Wizarding Levels and, er, Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests. XD

Professor Snape can bottle what, brew what, and stopper what?

Alright, so I know that the answer to that question is in the first book in the chapter entitled The Potions Master, which is about Harry first day at Hogwarts, including his lesson with Snape. Snape takes away a total of two points from Gryffindor, one for Harry not knowing the answer to his questions, one because Snape blamed Harry for Neville's melted cauldron. However... the only part I know for sure is stopper death (because that definetly makes sense XD)

Bottle fame, brew glory, and put a stopper on death

Someone else can have the question, I can't think of anything

As I have just finished the series a couple of minutes ago and we seem to need another question, here goes nothing...

Why did Harry survive the Killing Curse for the second time?

If this is like a duh question, sorry, it’s the best I could come up with.

Elli says nyre

I didn’t think you knew the answer either.

Because Voldemort had inadvertently turned Harry into a horcrux when he tried to kill him the first time, so the second killing curse just killed off the horcrux part of him.

What did Ron get as a reward for becoming a prefect?

Ron gets a new broomstick, but I think the answer to Jwyn's question was that Harry walked willingly into death.
