The Warriors Series

by Erin Hunter
These books are great ! They are about a house cat who wanders into the forest and suddenly finds himself in a world of action. Although having a part in ongoing wars between rival clans of cats may not seem fun, Rusty finds that he was not meant to be a house cat, he was meant to be a warrior . . .

Hollyleaf was just strictly tied to the warrior code. It was what she was taught and she was a rule follower so she stuck to it. She was smart and loyal, and even if she was uptight it was only because she was standing up for what she beleived in. She could have been a great leader.

I finished Into the Wild a few days ago. It was awesome!!! The writing pretty proper, unlike a lot of books today. I liked Spottedleaf and Greypaw/Greystripe. I wish Spottedleaf hadn't of died!!!! But I still can't wait to read Fire and Ice!! Has anybuggy been onto the website?

I have! Some parts (like the warrior name generator) were ridiculous (honestly, it is apparently possible for a warrior cat to be named Icefire, Rockhead, or Rippedeye, not to mention the fact that my mother is apparently Brambleclaw, which is rather creepy, if you know what I mean), but others were awesome! Has anyone seen what Clan they would be from if they were a cat? I did! I'd be RiverClan, which makes me ecstatic! They always were my favorit Clan...

Yeah, these books are good. I'm kind of stuck on Midnight, but I'll get through it. I got stuck on Forest of Secrets and then just breezed right through. I would be named Scartalon. My little bro, Natty (known on here as NDT), LOVES these books and is practically finished with the second series. He would be named Brighttalon. Anyway, I would be in RiverClan too! Chop it, Ima! I never really join Warriors RPs or anything like that, but sooner or later NDT will be doing it, I betcha. :| Ya gotta love that kid, but sometimes....

Does anyone else think that Night Whispers (the title) symbolizes StarClan and the Dark Forest? And there will definitely be a romance between Tigerheart and Dovepaw.

@ Reuben: I now agree with you entirely, although for some reason I still love to read this series. I don't know how to explain that, but it's true. Even though I know that it's technically not a good series, I just love it. Anyway, the one thing I disagree with is the purpose of writing it. From what Vicky said about it, she and the other EHunters actually seem to enjoy it. They didn't come up with the idea for Warriors, though; their editor did. They just did everything else.

@ Kiana: Watership Down is a book, not a series. It was written long before Warriors, and is basically the rabbit version of New Prophecy. I was very disappointed in EHunter there; I didn't think even she would copy anything so directly.

@ Everyone who seems to think that Hollyleaf shouldn't have (SPOILERS TO FOLLOW!) gone insane: I disagree. It added to the story. Besides, she was still a great character, even as an insane and possibly suicidal murderess. I don't think she really died, though. It shows her in the tunnel when it collapsed, but it didn't show the tunnel collapsing on her. Besides, she didn't appear to Jayfeather in StarClan, as far as we know, or to Ivypaw in the Place Of No Stars. Also, in a video aboutOmen Of The Stars, EHunter accidentally let slip that Hollyleaf would be a main character. She also mentioned a female villain, although that could be Ivypaw.

Yes, I am aware that most of the people I replied to will never see my posts. I am pathetic enough as to be completely obsessed with a soon-to-be-50-book-long, second-rate series that seems like it was written to make money with an animal fantasy. ;)

I don't like Seekers....Plus, if you look back, I said that I seriously dislike the third series plotline... NOTHING happens!  I'm on book six and I feel like I've just started!  Plus, even though there's thousands of names out there, EH just had to shoose Sneezepaw!  Good grief!

I really really love this series. It really captures emotion and it still has action. The writing is good too, although in the first book the dialogue is pretty stilted. I read a bit of a Seekers sneak peek at the back of a book once, and it was very tedious.

In the Warriors series the plot is great, but in the Power of 3 series, I dont really like Lionblaze.

I love the Warrior cats!!! I personally like Night Whispers in the fourth series. I love all the books!!! My favorite charactors are Dovewing, Ivypool, Jayfeather, Cinderheart, and Lionblaze. Medicine cats rule, so go Jayfeather!!!!! Smile I have to say my favorite series so far is the Omen of the Stars, so much fantasy which I love. Once again, I LOVE WARRIOR CATS!!!
