Um, Mary W, I was wondering- well you know my Round Robin thread? (About fairies) Well you made Kitty's middle name to be Lilliterra and I was wondering if I could use that name in one of my stories- thought I'd better ask permission.

Incidentally, the story I want to use it in takes place in the same world as the fairy Round Robin. (I wrote my own story off the beginning. It's quite different.)

I'm just wondering if any of you have ever written (or heard of, for that matter) a precis. I'm working on one for my composition class, and they're pretty tricky. If any of you have given them a shot, how did it go?

This thread is for the general encouragement of its participants. Here's the deal. You post one of your worst poems/excerpts from stories/etc. on here. Feel free to use psuedonyms if you like. The purpose is to make you see how far you've come. Please don't post entire novels that you hate, as we would like to spare the Admins having to read through too much junk. :D I will post later with my "contribution" (more like a detraction) probably under a pen name as I really hate most of the things I write. Have fun! :D

I have a new favorite medium/style - Ink portraits. What i do is, start with a picture of someone then I set the contrast really high on the computer, so that parts of the pic are pure black. Then I draw it, and fill in the black parts with sharpie. I do faces with a little bit of neck. They are really fun! I would post one of them except I still can't figure out how to put photos up :P.

With skin the color of milk, eyes that looked like morning dew, and moon-colored lips, Ise never quite fit in. Of course it didn't help that she had no idea who her family was, being found by a lake as a toddler with no recollection of her past three years.;;;;;;;;;
