Meadow of Faults
Meadow of Faults
I was reading Wuthering Heights outside yesterday when the mailman came and delivered a project. Then a single short fragment of a story popped into my head. Imagine this as just a part of one, somewhere in the middle of the story. Also, I didn't really edit the dialogue, just added a bit here and there. Please do tell me what you think!
"Mrs. Fendwick, a package for you, Ma'am," a dark haired man with weeping eyes and ragged clothes says, pulling forward a small box.

A couple things:
A couple things:
1. No, I am not a new CBer. Keep this in mind, I am secret identity person.
2. Please, if you are reading this thread, DON'T try to guess me.
3. Well, I thought that perhaps it would be a good idea for people to go back and read the Warriors RP made by Coconut the dog, what with all the "ressurecting old threads" stuff going on, and the Donald Trump campaign on the CB. (Y'know, "Make America/the CB great again," that sorta stuff.)

I'm drowningI
I'm drowning
In the abyss that is my feelings.
My stomach is tied in knots
As I think.
My heart will grow cold
As my soul is soon sold,
And I'll be a different person forever.
But if I refuse,
I'm sure that I'll lose,
Their voice like a noose,
Holding me down,
Making me drown,
And then I'll be back to the start.

You can post poems you wrote here. They can be any kind of poem. You can also share poems written by other poets but make sure to include either their name or anymous. Also don't use any of these poems that you haven't written for any contests since that would be cheating. I have 4 examples. 2 haikus,

Admins,
I was wondering what the differences are between Down to Earth, Chirp at Cricket, Pudding's Place and Inkwell. And thanks for doing such a wonderful job making magazines and posting posts.
I think you can find a description somewhere on this site, but generally Down to Earth is to talk about everyday or worldly things; Chirp at Cricket to make comments about the magazines or to the bug characters or magazine staff; Pudding's Place to discuss the arts, theater, etc.; Inkwell to share writing.

Fantastical CB Story
I will be writing a story using CBers as characters! Those who remember my True Names CB story will remember this. Write a brief description of yourself (appearance and personality) and I will choose people to put into it as Primary (main) Characters, Secondary (more minor) Characters, and NPC (very minor) Characters.
Fill out this:

MUTANTS RP!I
MUTANTS RP!
Inspired from X-Men, but no prior knowledge needed.
Students attend Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a haven for children with strange mutations. These mutations go from almost unnoticeable to abnormally powerful, but he does not segregate. It is a tight-nit community where everyone knows each other and their abilites, and, mostly, they get along well.

I walked to
I walked to the swim deck. I shrugged off my parka and shivered. Man, swimming in the dead of winter is HARD! I pull out my wetbag, cap, and goggles and look out across the pool.
I spot Alexa, breathing every two strokes, and Tristan, addicted to his black-and-grey kickboard. I see Liam and his 7 stroke laps and Luna breast-stroke kicking in the same lane. Lina forever, I think. I force my cap and goggles over my head and ask coach Chun, "What's the warm-up?"
