Chatterbox: Inkwell

Do any of you remember TAoSS? It was a story I wrote for a good long time last year, was completely head over heels for, and was extremely optimistic about my finishing it.

Needless to say, I abandoned it, something that I still feel truly awful about. I loved my characters, their problems, their friendships. However, I was deeply dissatisfied with my writing. It was sentimental, cliche, and dragged out certain things too long and moved other things too fast. I had written myself into a wall.

Special properties (floating, underwater, etc.): floats in the air.

Apearence: 2 story mansion floating on a giant rock with vines hanging off it.

Xena clutched the fountain pen lightly, watching as it turned into a dagger in her hands.  "What does this mean?" she asked.

"You're powerful, Xena.  More powerful than this world," Eva said, staring at Xena, who looked very confused.  "You can't stay here.  You have to go to the Mythical Realm."

Xena looked up from the dagger, silver, with a black hilt, and answered, "The Mythical Realm?  That's a myth!"

"Not always," Eva replied, smiling.

So, this is my book for NaNo. It's a WIP, obviously, (and unedited, so have a little grace on my mistakes) and I'm planning on just posting what I have so far and then posting chapter by chapter after that if y'all are interested.
