Orange-Pineapple Ice

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING to do on a hot, lazy summer day? This cool, fruity treat is easy to make and refreshing to eat!
What You'll Need:
1 cup cubed pineapple (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup orange slices (fresh or canned)
1 teaspoon lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
1/4 cup water
1/8 cup white corn syrup
blender
What to Do:
- Put fruit in blender and pour lemon juice on top. (If using canned fruit, drain juice first.)
- Add water and corn syrup.
- Blend for 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a pie pan and freeze for 1 1/2 hours.
- When frozen, cut or break ice into small pieces and place in blender.
- Blend for 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Spoon into bowls and enjoy immediately, or store in plastic container in freezer. Makes 4 half-cup servings.
