GUESS WHAT! You'll never guess! Never!

I have *dances around* written my story for the March issue's "Daring Rescue" competition! Yes! Laughing Haha, I haven't entered a contest since Muse's (no, I don't get Muse anymore, it's a great mag, but Cricket is better) November/December 2008 story contest! I didn't win in that one, so I guess I sort of lost my courage and just never really got around to entering any more contests, even when I saw one that interested me. But maybe now, things will be different. Neither of the contests in January or February really sparked my interest, but this one did! I am sending it in the day after tomorrow.

Anyway, just wanted to share the news! I will post my entry here on March the 26th. I want to keep it very private until then. No offense or anything.

Send it right away if you can, Wolfgirl67. Sometimes the mail is really slow reaching us, and the 25th deadline for receiving entries is this coming Thursday.

I'm thinking about entering for the horse story contest. How do you e-mail entries Admin?

 We don't accept emailed submissions, but you can send a hard copy to Cricket League, PO Box 300, Peru, IL 61354. Good luck!

I thought I saw something submitted that says 'via e-mail,' though didn't I? *checks* yea, I did! Or- is that just for the letterbox Admin? And not for the story contests?

 

Letterbox is the only place where we invite readers to submit to mail@cricketmagkids.com. We would also accept a Favorite First Sentence that way or a Cricket Readers Recommend, but not contest entries. They must be mailed to Cricket League, PO Box 300, Peru, IL 61354. And please allow plenty of time for the mail to arrive. It must be RECEIVED by the 25th. We're so sorry when entries arrive after the deadline.

Well, I sent my entry yesterday, so it should arrive on time. And I also sent one to Discovery Girls magazine. :)
