I have *dances around* written my story for the March issue's "Daring Rescue" competition! Yes! 
Haha, I haven't entered a contest since Muse's (no, I don't get Muse anymore, it's a great mag, but Cricket is better) November/December 2008 story contest! I didn't win in that one, so I guess I sort of lost my courage and just never really got around to entering any more contests, even when I saw one that interested me. But maybe now, things will be different. Neither of the contests in January or February really sparked my interest, but this one did! I am sending it in the day after tomorrow.
Anyway, just wanted to share the news! I will post my entry here on March the 26th. I want to keep it very private until then. No offense or anything.

I entered the "Daring Rescue" too! Good luck! I've entered many Cricket contests, and I've only gotten three honorable mentions... so I'm not super excited about it. But it was a good story of mine, so I hope it places well.

GREAT JOB, WOLFGIRL!!!!!!! You did it!!!!! I might have read it, and I really would go and read it at the moment if I wasn't on a trip and away from my Cricket collection. I may actually have brought the issue with me, but I'm not positive. Anyway, CONGRATS!!!! I bet it was a really good story!!!
