Supercilious - SUE PER SILL EE US 

Definition: behaving or looking as though one thinks one is superior to others. 

Example: The rich woman looked superciliously down upon the maid. 

I’m really sorry, but I don’t think I can host this month. The theater program at my school takes up a lot of my time, and the production is next week. If anastasia hosts this month, I can try for January.
