I know there has been a lot of talk about this but I've never spent time reading the threads because I hadn't read the Hunger Games until NOW!
So I've been looking at pictures of the people (Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Prim). I'm really not sure if I like who's playing Katniss. I always imagined her with a really distinctive look and dark brown skin. This girl seems too pretty.
Peeta. At first I was like: Oh no. This can't be Peeta. I'm still not sure if I'm happy about it. He looks too... Happy? Cute? I don't know how I imagined Peeta but the guy who's playing Peeta doesn't seem like Peeta, though I could be wrong... Isn't Peeta blonde?
Gale. Liam Hemsworth. Certainly not my first choice (I do find him quite handsome...). After thinking about it for a while, I think he might do quite well as Gale.
Prim. The girl (Willow something or other) playing her seems perfect (judging on the picture). That's really all I have to say.
What do you think? Who are the other actors?
Have they come out with an "official" trailer, yet? I've seen a lot of trailers on YouTube, some of which I knew were fan-made and not real but then I saw this really sad one and it seemed like it could almost be an official trailer. I saw the teaser trailer that Olive was talking about but I always thought teaser meant they were making fun of it. As Olive said Rue's four note tone was perfect. I really thought it was beautiful. I would've liked to see more. I'm dying to see the movie.
Are they making three movies or are they just putting all three books together to make a movie?

Oh! I know which Hanging Trees you guys are talking about. I listened to them earlier. Not a big fan of them.
I'm listening to a Hanging Tree that I rather like. It has a painting of a tree on the left and a white background and the words The Hanging Tree on the right. It's by unofficialscore. (who composes amazing music by the way)
Has anyone here heard the trailer music for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy? It (and the rest of the score) is composed by Danny Elfman. Who's composing the music for THG. And the music sounds awesome. ;)

Okay, did someone say Josh whatever died his hair for Peeta because I just found pictures from the movie and his hair is brown. He looks like a pretty bad actor, by the way.

@E.M.: I dunno. There're few pics from the movie so far, but from the ones I've seen, his hair's dirty blond. And I don't know anything about his acting skills actually. ;)

@E.M.: Really? When does it come out in Germany? In Canada it comes out on 23 March, 2012. (YEAH! 2012!) And on imbd they might have a review for Peeta. Or Wikipedia.

Ooh, Josh is a really good actor! I'm really excited to see him in this role! I've seen some movies that he's in when he was younger, and he was really good, and I've seen a bunch of movies of when he was older, but most of the movies he's in are PJ-13 or R.

What really bothers me about Katniss and Peeta is that the person who is playing Katniss is rather tall too be playing someone about only about 5 feet. And Peeta is said too be pretty big. I was thinking 6 feet but he is only 5'7". Yes I know that most people don't really care about that knid of thing but it does matter since it's part of what they are capable of. And the actor playing Peeta was in the Bridge to Terabithia.
I don't think it will be a good movie, but I am going to see it anyway just to see first hand.

I always thought Katniss would be a little...prettier. Peeta seems awesomes...his looks anyway. I don't know what to say about his acting, as I only heard about one line by him during the trailer. I have no idea about anyone else, since...they weren't really in the trailer except for Gale, and I...don't care about him much.
