Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
RP!!! Anyone want
RP!!! Anyone want to join me in writing a story about were-wolves? :)
Name: Tala
Age: 16
Hair/eyes: pale blond hair, almost white, green eyes.
Tala--
Marus, Leo, Anna, and Sylvia all ran beside me through the city streets, the wind hitting my face as we went. We weaved around the people standing on the road, and towards the manor where my cousins and I lived with Uncle Richie. (Richie isn't related to any of them, but he grew up w/ their fathers.) Anna slowed to catch her breath, but the rest of us ran on. We could run farther and faster than her, and there was a good reason for that. But Anna could never know why my cousins and I could run so fast, or jump so high, or why we refused to go anywhere after dark on the night of the full moon. I stopped to wait for Anna while the others kept going. They reached the gate and climbed all 15 feet of it in almost no time at all. Anna and I came after them, and I climbed up as quickly as my cousins had. Anna climbed a little slower, but made it to the mansion about the same time as the rest of us. Sylvia glared at me for inviting Anna to run with us, tonight was Purnima, or full moon. I looked away to avoid meeting Sylvia's eyes, but I knew she was right: Anna had to go, before the pack arrived, and before the moon rose.
"Anna, thanks for coming, but I think you'd better go now." I told her.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because...." I faltered, not knowing what to say.
"Because Richie is having guests over tonight, and we have to be there. It's going to be pretty boring," Marus finished for me. I smiled gratefully at him as Anna said goodbye and left. We went into the house and locked the door, then ran to the back of the house and went out the back door. Richie was already there, welcoming the rest of our pack. Many of them had already changed, not waiting for Purnima's calling. I did the same, and ran out to meet them alongside my cousins.

Halia-
Tala ran into the house, leaving Marus and me alone.
Marus stood there, dumbly looking at his feet. I didn’t feel the need to stay and watch so I tried to walk away.
“Halia?” I stopped in front of the open door.
“What?” My voice came out cold and harsh. He should know that I hadn’t given up. He should know…
“I’m-uh- sorry about being pushy. I didn’t mean to…” His voice trailed off and I turned around. The look in his fierce eyes told me what he wanted to say.
My mouth twitched into a half smile and I went into the house.
Tala was just coming down the stairs.
“Is Uncle Richie okay?” I asked nervously.
“Yeah. Come on. I think we should help Sylvia. She’s done a lot already.”
I followed Tala up the stairs and through the hall. At the last door, we stopped.
“Sylvia?”
“Yeah?” Sylvia walked out. Her face showed how happy she was that we were here to take away her job.
“You should check her,” Sylvia whispered as she walked out of the room.
Check her? Would she check for a scent? Would she talk to her? My question was soon to be answered.
Tala pushed a strand of pale blond hair behind her ear.
“Hi.” The girl on the bed looked up and smiled. Her brown eyes sparkled with thankfulness and something else… I knew the feeling. I’d seen it so many times before. Under the sugar-sweet coating was hate. Pure ice-cold hate.
“What’s your name?” Tala plumped down on the pale green sheets of the other bed. I stood near the door, studying the stranger.
“Neoma. I’m a hitchhiker, and I was planning to find a hotel, but I was so tired. My money ran out… I’m so glad you helped me!”
I said nothing. I kept studying every move Neoma made. Her graceful brown arms moved almost robotically.
“No problem. How long are you planning on staying?” Tala’s sparkling blue eyes intently watched the girl.
“Dunno. I have to rest. Maybe two or three days.” Another smile.
“I guess I should leave you alone. If you need anything just call.” Tala got up, smiled and I followed her out.
Halfway down the hall, I cupped my hands around her ear. “I have to tell you something.”
Tala raised her eye brows and beckoned into her room.

I don't know what you guys are talking about in Tala's room but here's my post. :)
Neoma--
The two girls leave, and I get up and go to the window. From this point of view I can see the front gate, and the town beyond it. I see smoke coming from a factory about 6 miles off, and opening the window I can smell the chemical fog. I suppose that living here for so long the Eastern Pack is used to the smell, but I'm not accustomed to human-like scents. My pack lives far from civilization, we live like an actual wolf pack. However, the Eastern Pack mingles with the lower species. Humans are so......so......careless. They don't care that they're killing the earth with every mile they drive in their cars and every piece of trash they throw away. I wouldn't call them primitive, but they really aren't all as smart as they think they are. They don't know anything about how to live in harmony with nature, even the ones that think they do. And they don't even know about werewolves. Stupid humans. They don't know half as much as they think they do.

Hey, Elizabeth M!!! I saw that you are going to be gone starting the 18th, so do you want to post something about our chat in my character's room like right before you leave? Then I can post something, and Neoma can post again too if she wants to keep the thread alive while you are gone, and you can post when you get back.
Curious question: Where are you going? Somewhere cool? :)
(August 8, 2011 - 4:40 pm)
Oh. I guess I confused you guys! I thought that Sylvia had brought Neoma to a room in the house to stay, and while Uncle Richie was going crazy she was trying to distract Neoma. Did I get that wrong? Anyway, just to be sure, Sylvia wanted Tala to ask Neoma some questions... I hope I didn't confuse you too much.
Now I am answering the curious question. As a matter of fact, I'll be in the USA visiting relatives. Obviously somewhere cool! ;) Maybe I'll run across a Chatterboxer without knowing!

Two things:
You did get it right, that's what was happening (at least as far as i know) :)
Two, where in the U.S? What state? :)
(August 11, 2011 - 10:41 am)
Well, three states actually. An island, an eastern beachy state, and a state in the southwest! :-)
(August 15, 2011 - 10:35 am)
I'm guessing Hawaii, Florida, and.......let's see.......Arizona? :) If you want you can post a bit of the story before you leave, it will give the rest of us something to work off of. :)

Hawaii is correct! Ding ding! ;) Anyway, I can't post, but keep this at the top!
Hi, Elizabeth. Hope you're having a great time!

Fynn--
I woke from my afternoon nap to the sound of Neoma's voice, but she wasn't standing in the doorway telling me to hurry up and brush my hair so we could go eat dinner. Today she was speaking to me telepathically, yelling at me to get off my tail and listen to her. I sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes, and sent a thought back to her to let her know I was awake.
'Finally! The girls just left my room and I probably don't have much time to talk,' she said in my mind.
'What do you want?' I asked.
'I haven't met Richard yet, but the others you told me about are already getting suspicious,' she said. 'The oldest I saw but didn't talk to, and I didn't meet the boy twin, he came in late last night, --because apparently he has a job-- but the three girls don't like me at all.'
'What do you expect? They've grown up among humans, human girls are almost as crazy about territory and stuff like that as us wolves are. You can't really blame them. Plus, even though they're senses have been slightly clogged by the humans around them, you didn't do as perfect a job as you thought you did when you washed away your scent,' I told her. I could feel her anger at me clouding my thoughts.
'I'll talk to you later, the girls could come back soon.'
'Ok, bye.'
