Tangled:
I saw this movie in the theater on Saturday, and guess what!!! Old Disney has returned!! It was a real, honest-to-goodness princess movie. I loved the twist on the Rapunzel fairy tale; there were actual songs, the animation was AMAZING (especially the part with the paper lanterns floating over the water at night), and it wasn't like those stupid movies that appeal to 5 year old boys with a bunch of potty humor thrown in. The ending was SO unexpected. I was sitting there thinking, "Wha????????? That is SO not supposed to happen!!" I was very interested to see how they would resolve the crisis. It was so sweet! And I also *loved* the new 'do at the end. You should definitely see it!!! (note: this does not apply to boys)

@ Brynne:"...when you're fast asleep..."
Anyway, I also love Pocahontas too (I don't think I spelled that right ~glances behind shoulder~).

Yeah, the humor was great. i like the parts with the horse 'cause he just has so much personality. i also like the montages, where she was trying to get Finn in to the closet and the one right after she left the tower. Also the part with the glowing hair.
"Yeah, and I have magical hair that glows when I sing."
Later:
"She had glowing hair! When she said she had glowing hair I didn't think she actually had glowing hair!"
"It doesn't just glow."
"....why is he smiling at me?"

Haha I love that part! Another of my favorites is when Flynn is fighting Maximus with a frying pan and says "You should know that this is the strangest thing I have ever done!"

I just saw this movie with my friends and it was actually good!! I mean, the ending definitely seemed a bit too forced, but I don't know what else they could have done. (I was wondering if her eyebrow would be magic or something...) I found myself laughing despite myself very frequently. Maximus was such a cute horse! Disney sure has a way with funny animals. And Mother Knows Best was certainly an interesting song. Gothel was trying to be so motherly... and the strange thing was... it was almost motherly. In a very, very twisted way.
But yes, I'd overall recommend it to people. No, it wasn't my favorite movie of all time, but it was cute. :)

(Spamboy says, 'fend.' Yes, Spamboy, Rapunzel was pretty good at fending for herself.)

I know I am really late commenting, but I haven't been on here in a really long time. At first when I saw the trailer for Tangled I thought it was going to be horrible with lots of crude humor, but I decided that I would go see it because my cousins and sister were going to. And it was great! My sister and cousins and I were laughing hard at the funny parts and crying at the sad ones. (Which doesn't happen that much) There were actually a fair number of teenagers and adults. It wasn't just small children. I thought it was fabulous music, just as good as the other Disney princess movies. I think that my favorite Disney princess is either Rapunzel or Belle. I am not sure which; they are both great. Maximus was great and one of the best parts of the movie
