I came here to rant about him, and I saw EW's thread about him, but I decided to make my own. I will post there as soon as I'm done with this (although this might take so long I'll forget).
Things I dislike about him:
1) Decent voice, though I've heard much better
2) Positively horrible dancer
3) All his music sounds the same.
4) His music videos are awful, verging on inappropriate.
5) He's 16?! Sorry, I don't believe that. He looks like a 12-year-old.
6) All the girls in his music videos are TALLER than him.
7) And yes, he does sound a whole lot like a girl. A friend's mom heard him on the radio and said, "Oh, this girl has a good voice!" :)
8) He tries to look older than he really is.
9) Girls just worship him.
Things I like about him:
Zero.

@Hannah-Yes, I live in GA and I love the hot weather compared to the cold. Ugh. Yes, my sister was the one learning to drive (wow, I can't believe you remember that), though I'm not exactly sure which test thing you're talking about. I think it might be the one to get her learner's permit, so if it is, yes, she did get her learner's. But I hate driving with her 'cause my dad gets all hyped up when she does something wrong. Whew. Lots of yeses.

@MJ: Yeah, I have a fairly good long-term memory, but a downright awful short-term memory. This is kinda cool we're both from Georgia. I think we're the only ones from the Chatterbox who are Georgian (is that how you say it?) Have you always lived in Georgia? Did you hear about the Olympic Bobseldder who's from Georgia?!!

So, I'm really out of the loop as far as popular singers go, but I've noticed Justin Bieber all over the place here. I have an out-of-the-loop question. How do you pronounce Bieber? Is it Beeber or Bye-ber? I've never actually heard anyone say it out loud.

@Hannah-Um, I heard of the Georgian guy who died in the Olympics, but he was from the country Georgia. I think he might have been doing the luge (sp?) thingy, so I'm not sure which Georgia state bobsledder you're talking about.

I think that if you think of him as a girl, he has a good voice. If you think of him as a boy, his voice is WAY too high.

Honestly, don't get me started on that singer who needs a lesson on growth spurts and vocals. Someone give him a number to a chorus teacher; he could use the lessons.

In one of his music videos the girl was 3 inches taller than him and she looked 25. I think he's kind of full of himself but I find him OK. If any of you see the JB special by Seventeen then check it out. There's a picture of him swishing his hair... *Rolls eyes* Obviously girls are screaming all around him because he swished his hair. *Rolls eyes again* Overall I find him OK. I can't get the version by ZB out of my head.

UGH. I hate this kid. I won't even type his name, it disgusts me so much. He is SO annoying. I LOVE the lyrics, but NOT his voice, ew. I hate him. I would type more, but I'm supposed to be studying *shhhh* ;)

You guys are almost too mean. Yes, he's TOTALLY full of himself, thinks he's a punk, blah blah blah. No, I don't really like him... even though he's a tad bit cute. :) But, seriously he DOESN'T control the rate he grows! EVERYBODY is different, so, because he isn't as advanced in growing as "normal", you're going to make fun of him for that? I just say this because I feel kinda sorry for hime because he's always getting critizied for his hieght and his voice, but it's not like he does that on purpose! Seriously, it's just cruel!! ZB, you're 12 (I think :P), how do you know you won't be 16 and haven't had a growth spurt in a long while? It could happen. I just think it's terrible... to make fun of him for that.

Goodness, I completely forgot about this thread! I remember during the summer, I was at a baseball game and "Eeny Meenie" started playing. I had never heard it, but knew it was a Justin Bieber song, until I listened more closely and heard that it was a lady singing it. Then I realized, "Oh. The lady is Justin Bieber." :P Oh well, though his singing and dancing is appauling, he's still a human being and deserves respect like every one of us!
