I quickly adjust my blue tie and rumple my white hair--I look alright. Maybe not perfect, but definitely better than Cove and Remus.
"Heyy, Cassy..." Remus barges through my bedroom door, grinning evilly. "Isn't that girlfriend of yours coming today? Because I found a picture of you..." He holds up a photograph. It was taken of me and Kamryn last week at the park. We'd decided on a romantic date, and the picture was...definitely embarrassing for Remus to find. In the picture, we're sitting with our shoulders touching on a park bench, sharing a chocolate croissant. I hid that in Cove's room last week! They can never find anything.
"B-But--What? I hid that!" I stutter, flushing furiously and making a grab at the photo.
"Ah-ah-ah," Remus says, holding the picture over his head. "You're not getting this until I've done a couple things with it."
"Please, just give it back," I say. "The guests are basically all here! I don't want to keep them waiting." I lunge for the photo and...miss, instead grabbing his jacket. Remus stumbles for a second, laughs a maniacal laugh, and drags me out of the room by my collar.
"I definitely have some plans for this," Remus says as he practically drags me down the stairs to where the guests are waiting. I spot Kamryn by herself, Cove munching on Lark's spaghetti, and the rest of my siblings in our living room.
I let out a miserable sigh as Remus places me down next to an Æ I don't know. I hunch over, embarrassed. "I--sorry about that," I mumble, shooting a glare at Remus as he leaves.

Xx "Yeah, yeah. I'm on my way right now. There's no need to come. I'm fine on my own-AH." I pulled the phone away from my ear. "Did you drop the phone Lore? Oh really, you got scared by Rin. Ok fine. Anyways, I'll see you later. Yup, bye." Shoving the phone back into my pocket, I walk up the front steps. I knock twice, looking around. The door is opened by an older AE with dark skin and long blue hair. "Oh ho ho. Hello Kam." I look him up and down "First of all. Only my friends call me Kam. Second of all.....where's Caspain?"He grins, pointing to Caspain sitting by another AE. "Oh" My face falls for a moment. "Ok, I'll talk to him later." I say pushing past the boy and walking over to the snack table to put my food down. xX

I walk over to the door and open it to find a girl with red hair and green eyes--ah, it's Kam, Cass's girlfriend. My face splits into a smirk. "Ah, ha ha! You must be Kam," I say, still smirking as I look down on her--she's pretty short.
The girl--Kam--seems to size me up and down, glaring at me the whole time. "xXFirst of all,Xx" she says, then I tune her out. Something about not calling her Kam? Oh well, whatever. Like I care. Then, she says: "Xx...Where's Caspian?xX"
"Oh, he's talking with...whoever that is," I reply smugly, gesturing to where Caspian is chatting with another Æ--probably involuntarily, since I dragged him there--but Kam doesn't know that.
Kamryn's face falls. "XxI guess I'll talk to him later,xX" she says, pushing past me and walking over to the snack table to put her food down. She probably doesn't want to be followed, but I do anyway.
"Y'know, I've heard a lot about you," I say, combing my hair once with my fingers, snickering inwardly. "Caspian talks about you all the time--but it's mostly complaining, like 'Oh, Kamryn's so annoying, I hope next time we go out I can tell her how I really feel," and all that. The whole enchilada. He seems to think you're so annoying--he can be pretty rude sometimes," I say, innocently batting my eyelashes.
A hurt look crosses Kamryn's face, and I think she tears up a little--but that's probably just the lighting. A guilty feeling settles into my stomach for a moment, so I grab and bite into a cupcake to get rid of it--always make everything better.
"Xx...He...really said that?xX" she asks, sniffling for a second and rubbing her eyes furiously.
"Yeah, he did. Not super cool of him, huh? Well, I'll leave you to it!" I reply, walking away cheerfully, cupcake in hand.

Ooh boy, Remus can be kinda nasty sometimes.

-Parties aren't really my thing, but since I was dragged here, I might as well try to make a friend.-
-I loon around at the party scene, noticing others already talking to each other. I wonder if there is anyone who would be willing to talk to me? But after a while of nobody coming over to talk to me, I finally decide to talk to someone first.-
-I see someone I believe is Caspian standing off to the side, and I decide to talk to him. "Um, hi there," I say nervously. "How are you? Are you enjoying the party?"-

After Remus dragged me down the stairs, he dropped me right in front of this girl--Lyra, I think.
"-Um...hi there,-" she says nervously. "-How are you? Are you enjoying the party?-"
"I--uh, sorry about that," I say, standing up and brushing my suit off. "I'm fine, thanks. And yeah, the party's nice--so far, I guess. I mean, I was only just dragged down the stairs by that idiotic brother of mine--Remus, I mean." I shuffle my feet and laugh awkwardly. I have trouble talking to any girl that isn't Kamryn these days. "So, uh, do you have any food preferences?" I nod to the food-and-beverage table that Lark set up. "We have cupcakes, spaghetti, uh...cookies..."

Celine bounces through the door (no, literally. She's basically made of water, remember?) and sets her tray of blue jello with swedish fish next to a shrimp spaghetti with alfredo sauce (this actually sounds so good...). She looks around the room, trying to take the party in. There's music blasting from the speakers, blue lights sweeping the room, and a line of guests are steadily streaming in. There's a redheaded girl next to the spaghetti, who seems to be guarding it, but from what, Celine can't figure out. She seems friendly enough though, so Celine decides to talk to her. She's gotta talk to SOMEONE, anyway, this is her first party and she's bursting to share her excitement. She turns towards the girl, "Hi!" She cries out, practically screams. "Isn't this SO EXCITING??" The girl gives a polite smile, which Celine takes as a signal to keep going. "Anyways, I'm so excited, what do you think we're gonna do here?? Are we gonna play party games? Or dance? Or do the conga? ACK I WOULD LOVE TO DO THE CONGA!! Or even if we just talked and ate, that'd be cool too! WAIT! This is an ocean-themed party, right? Are we swimming? Are we watching a movie? Are we- I'M SO EXCITED (wait. Did she just interrupt HERSELF??)!!!!!" Celine takes a big spoonful of her own jello and stuffs it in her mouth, chewing vigurously.
Lark could use this moment to talk if you want, or else she prob won't be able to get a word in edgewise. And sorry, Celine has a tendency to interrupt, probably due to being isolated for so long...

"+Yes, actually! I've been excited for--+" The girl cuts me off, though I don't think she did it to be rude.

I guess we can try to get everyone to do the conga, if you'd like! I'm pretty sure Remus is going to our Music Room to set everything up now. Would you like to join me?+" I ask, gesturing down the hallway, past the staircase.
+The girl--Celine, I think!--nods vigorously, takes a frantic bite of the gelatinous platter they had been holding, and starts to follow me.+
+As we walk down the hall, I smile again and ask; "+So, you're Celine, right? I don't think we've met! I'm Lark. Nice to meet 'ya!+"
"***Nice to meet you too! You're Lark, Endless's Æ. Right! Do you like sugar? Or maybe cake? How come you were practically guarding that spaghetti earlier?***"
+I flush, embarassed. I wasn't so much...guarding it...than I was standing there, hoping someone would offer to come try it. "+Um, no reason,+" I say, laughing softly. "+Did you make that jello?+"+

***+"Did you make that jello?"+ asks Lark, Endless Parodies' Æ . "This jello? Oh, no! My baking and cooking skills are HORRENDOUS! My sister, Saffy, made it. Are you SURE you don't want to try some? It's really good!" Celine says, while taking another huge bite of the jello, swallowing it all in one gulp. She doesn't seem to notice she's using the serving spoon to eat, which is now coated in dragon saliva. "In fact, the Swedish fish is specially enchanted to change color every time you look at it, because of the wide variety of fish that live in the ocean. See?!" She holds up a highlighter orange fish by the tail, which, after each blink, turns, in order, coral pink, baby blue, chartreuse, golden brown, and silvery luminous. +"Interesting..."+ says Lark. "Yep!" Celine grins, "and they taste good too!" She toss the whole tray of Swedish fish into her mouth, offering the now empty dish to Lark. "Really! You should have some!" Lark takes a look at the desert, and decides to change the subject. +"Well, we're at the Music Room now, soo..."+***

<Tumblebug breezes in through the door (late), plucking her nose plugs out of her (bright blue) satchel and plugging them in before bringing out her blue poop dessert and placing it on the potluck table with everything else, where it immediately makes everything smell like... poop. But oh well! Tumblebug glances around, wondering who she should talk to?>
