I was digging through Pudding's Place when I found Rose bud's "Writing/Art Contest!" and thought it was a really good idea! So, I'm gonna make one.

Here's how it works:
1. sign up as either an artist or an author.
2. on the 10th (or possibly sooner, whatever) I will assign each CBer a partner. There will be one author and one artist in each group.
3. There will be groups of two rounds. The groups will be judged on both partners' abilities. In the first semi-round, the author will post a short story. (Try to keep the stories under 1000 words) Then, the artist will draw a picture from the story. For the second semi-round, the partners will switch, with the artist posting a picture first, and the author writing a story for the picture.
Rules:
You can request other CBers as your partner.
We won't start until we have perfect two-person teams.
I will periodically post lists of all the authors, artists, and requested teams that we have.
Well, that's it! I'll post anything I've forgotten later, and make sure to ask me if you have any questions.

The judging date is the 27th, but I may move it forward (or backward) because I'm going on vacation around the 27th. We'll see - I'll update when I get more info.

I'm not insanely proud of this, I could've done better. But what is done is done. Also, note to self: NEVER INK WITH AN ERASABLE PEN. Yes, it was a bad idea ;-; anyway... It's Miriam when she was upset with her mother.

Could I request a bit of extra time? I’m sorry, I just realized that I need to do three full-color drawings to send in for something without the next few days!! Eep! Also, I’m WAY behind on school *sigh* I will get started on sketching, but it may take a little bit to color. Maybe just a few days, like until the 31st? If not, I think I can get it done.

Well... I may actually be good. Sketch is half done, and if I stay up a bit longer I can finish the sketch, and color tomorrow!

So, I worked on it a bit more -- hopefully the picture will show up this time.
I just . . . can't get the hands right. They looked terrible every time I try so I don't know what to do.

Don't worry too much about it. It looks amazing. I love the way you've drawn them already! I'm not great at drawing hands so I can't give much advice, sorry :( Maybe try asking a sibling (I think you mentioned having one) if you can take a picture with them doing the pose with their hands you want to use in the picture and use it for reference? Did that make sense? Anyways, I'm sure you can do it!

I'm very good at procrastinating, especially when there is a due date, and now there is this competition I'm in, so I'll try to get the sketch colored by today, if not, it should be done late tomorrow! Sorry!
