I am going to try! It will be difficult. I've made the attempt twice before. I will definitely at least consider the prompts. Today's prompt is Ring, tomorrow's is Mindless, and overmorrow's is Bait. If you can't read the text in the image, let me know and I'll post the rest.

How does Inktober work do you just take the daily promt and write something (poem/story/song) using that prompt?

It’s actually a drawing prompt, Not a writing prompt. Although you could write a short story about them, Inktober is a yearly October prompting, where everyday you draw/ink a sketch based upon them.
Im not sure If I’ll do it this year, maybe just one a week. But I enjoy seeing everyone else’s artwork!

Hey! It's unsuspectingstrytllr/Spring Flower. I'm back for Inktober, as I mentioned on the art thread.
Your lines look so fluid, Viola?! Do you sketch with pencil first or just ink immediately and go with what happens?
There were a few thoughts that went theough my head when I saw the prompt for yesterday, one of which being: "no, I'm not going to go easy on myself and just draw a cool ring."
So I went complex. I started it yesterday and finished this morning. I think I'll back off with the rest of the prompts because school is a thing and I need sleep.

Lord of the Rings was my original inspiration, but the scene I ended up doing was from the Hobbit. Good eye, though; I couldn’t resist doing a LOTR/Hobbit reference for such a perfect prompt. ;)

I haven't done one for today yet, but I'm trying a personal poetry challenge using the prompts. Here's my haiku from yesterday:
on fairy rings
circle of mushrooms
silvery lights dance like
fireflies, but not quite.
