Zentangles!

Does anyone else do these? For that matter, does anyone else know what these are?

Basically, you divide up your paper and fill in the sections with designs. I will post mine when this comes up.

Does this count as a zentangle?

Wow, that's really pretty Aspen! And yes, I think that is a zentangle.

@BLuebird and Aspen, I would count both of those as zentagles. I have one or two in a similar kind of style, adn I like to consider it a zentangle. i think the person idea is really cool.

@Aspen and Bluebird, honestly I don't know if they're zentangles, but they're cool whatever they are.

@Everyone, they're amazing! Especially KtG's.

I did this Zentangle-in-progress just now, it's one of my first zentangles, and my first in a while. I'm going to outline and color it in a bit.

Mine feels a bit out of place, considering it only has one pattern.

Ooh, a monotangle! Especially of Paradox! I love Paradox, I use it in half of my tangles. ^^

Oh wow Lucy, yours is pretty!

I actually make up most of my patterns instead of using ones from a book. It's fun, but I think it's harder.

I've been doodling zentangles since forever, but I didn't know they were called that until recently. I'll try to post some soon...

And Kitten, what do you mean? People use patterns from books? I didn't know that even existed!

Yes, there are books with patterns in them. I haven't actually worked from one, but I've seen them at art camp.
