Zentangles!
Does anyone else do these? For that matter, does anyone else know what these are?
Basically, you divide up your paper and fill in the sections with designs. I will post mine when this comes up.

So, would these be zentangles?

Yes, those are zentangles. They're really pretty, especially the first one!

I've been thinking about doing some of these lately, and if I do, I'll try to remember to post them! Does anyone have any tips for a beginner?

Oh, I used to do these all the time! I can't post any right now, but when I get back from camp I might post some on the art posting thread. All of yours look really cool!

Does this count as Zentangle? It's like a combination of mandalas and swirly designs. I don't know.

Wow! That's super cool, Bluebird! How long did it take you to make that?
And KtG, how the heck do you that? It looks like you took a piece of black paper and drew over it in white--but you drew the black?

I have no idea, but it is insanely beautiful. I love the contrast between the calm simplicity of the person and the motion and detail in the designs.

@Leeli: thanks! I really have no idea how I do it. One day I just started doodling on an old permission form for school, and ta-da!
(June 28, 2017 - 5:42 pm)
and yes I drew in black.

Kate! Wow!! I love your use of negative space, it's so pretty! That is seriously amazing!
And Leafpool, I don't know, because I worked on it some at school when I had free time and then at home, so... 3 hours? 4? 5? I don't know.
Thank you, guys!
