Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Every adventure t

Every adventure that is offered them ends in murder. Every hotel or cruise ship or dinner party is doomed. So how is it that these foolish people keep getting in line.... well, to put it frankly-- to die? Again and again it happens. But will they be so silly when this one comes to an end?
The pine trees rustle in the breeze as you ride in a dusty car up dirt roads, steep and bumpy.
Tired of looking out the window at the infinite forest, you reach for your iPod, then remember that it's not there. You are going to a two-week-long wilderness survival camp in the Sierra-Nevada Mountains, and no technology is allowed.
Your mom jerks the car to a halt in a hard-packed dirt clearing. You get out and sling your light knapsack over your shoulder, looking around distastefully. There are trees, rocks, dirt, and not much else. It doesn't look like this is going to be very exciting.
Ah, you idiotic creature! This camp will be more exciting than you can understand. It will be so exciting that you will wish it had never happened...

Spyro, when asked if he'd like to come, threw a fit and almost burned the house down, so I guess it'll just be me this time.

Looks:

Thoughts on camping / wilderness:

I've never gone camping before, but I'm willing to give it a try, unlike some people.

Packing:

Bug spray

Bug spray

Bug spray

More bug spray

Even more bug spray

Oh, and some bug spray. Can't forget that.

I'm bringing Bolton and Beth!

Me:

What do you look like?

Honey, dirty blond hair just touching my shoulders, Hazel eyes.

What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general?

Loving it! I romanctize it, thinking gorgeous sunshine. Not bugs and sweat and dirt. (This is just for this, not in real life)

What are you packing?
S'mores makings, extra sets of clothes, and shampoo. What? There isn't a shower? What are you saying? Of course there are showers in the wilderness. It's not like it's uncivilized, people.
Bolton:
What do you look like?
Tall, brown hair and brown eyes, freckles.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general?
Umm. I hope some cute AE girls will be coming.
What are you packing?
A photograph of Anna, a book: how to charm girls (me: what?!)
Beth:
What do you look like?
Long blond hair, light blue eyes. Small for her age.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general?
Bolton better stay as far as he can away from me. I do hope there will be no drama.
What are you packing?
Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, hairpins, ect.

Looks: long blonde hair, paper pale, ice blue eyes.

Thoughts: my family goes camping every year. I'm pretty good at it.

Packing: a backpack full up with the essentials. And my ice magic, which I can't NOT pack, because it's an ability.

Oh my geesh I love camp, RVing, and nature!

I'm coming alone.

What do you look like?: I have dark blue eyes with golden specks, straight dark blue hair to my waist, silver cat ears, pale skin.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general?: I did the tent unit at my camp for two years, but now I like the arts unit where you are in air conditioning for most of the time and sleep in cabins. I love nature and National Parks. I also love RVing, but it is a 'luxury vehicle' and isn't a lot like camping.

What are you packing?: Necessities; unlimited notebooks and coloring/writing supplies; every book in the world put in a wallet so I can choose whatever I want to read; a fake ten dollar bill that plays Hamilton music (because Hamilton is on it, get it?); my violin, bow, rosin, stand, music, and other violin necessities; a violin eraser that plays Lindsey Stirling music. (I just got around no technology! Hee hee.)

I would love to come with Wordsy!

What do you look like? I am short, and I have short brown hair, large, innocent hazen eyes magnified by round glasses, and frecckles. I typicaly wear skirts and sweaters.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general? Ah... Well... You see... It isn't usualy my idea of a good time... I don't know how I'll take to it... By hey, try new things, right? (Oh my goodness I'm so scared)

What are you packing? A couple of books and a notebook.

For wordsy:

What do you look like? Tall, with shoulder-length brown hair in pig-tales, big hazel eyes, usualy in jeans or skorts and t-shirts.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general? Yaaay! Fun, fun! Adventure time!

What do you look like?
My hair is neither red nor gold, but a perfect merging of the two. It is thick, shimmering and floor-length-- I keep it plaited up, or twine it into one thick braid. (Because this is a Secondary World, let's just have it so this glorious mop never gets those horrid gnarled nests of knots, shall we?)
My eyes are an unbroken, azure blue-- like two skies. I have fair skin, tiny feet and supple fingers. I am petite. I wear a brown tunic accentuated with a sturdy sash, which is embroidered with green and silver leaves. My shoes are short-top boots, soft but hardy.
What are your thoughts on camping in the wilderness/wildlife in general?
I love wildlife and the wilderness--all but the insects. But I don't much like camping-- it's cold (or stifling), and there are mosquitos everywhere, and you have to sleep on a colony of lumps and boulders. I like to go on strolls and look at the trees and the birds, but I like to have a safe, comfortable nook to come home to.
What are you packing? (Keep in mind you will have to carry everything yourself. Also, be warned that at least one person will be bringing along something that was not on their list...)
Lembas (packs light, keeps you going for an inordinate amount of time).
A nature-guide-- pocket edition.
A large water-bottle (the flat kind)
A map of the woods.
A small harp. All of this, you may note, fits easily into a light pack.
My pet nuthatch (which doesn't go in the pack, obviously).
