Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Second: Hideto from Library of the Stars! (Btw, i'm still working on it - i might have to make it smaller and only keep the characters of people who have commented, though.) idk what's happening exactly, except i should have put effort into the background (if you can't tell, i didn't). fun trivia about this one: i started off drawing a random character and just put Hideto's face onto it and made the shirt something he'd wear XD idk how this one'll show up w/ the colors though. the picture's a bit darker than irl, and who knows what it will be like once it posts... anyway i actually kind of like it but it's mostly the colors so idk if it'll look decent.

Anddd Odette from Swan Lake!! quite a few anatomy issues with this one *shudders* but it does feel like Odette (especially an Odette from the Bolshoi or such).

actual last one. it's a quick sketch of Tev (short for Octavier, a made up name based off of Oliver, Octavian, etc) from one of my stories, but that's a long one to explain so i won't yet XD (the location is because of the story, but as i said, long to explain)

like seriously the ghost is so cute and I love how it's drawn (very much a ghost!!) and the background and ackkk. And then Hideto!!! I love the clothes so much :0 yess I love that type of pant pocket!! And the colors on the clothes work so well like whatt?? And his expression and his pose too!! And the background works so well with it!! And Odette and Giselle are so fun and I love their costumes and your ballet hands are so perfect and I love both their backgrounds so much too!!!! And then I love the star boba and how you drew it it feels so magical I love itt. And Tev is awesome!!! I love the hair and expression especially, but really everything :DDD

ahhh thank you!!! i saw your post on Jellycats thread btw - will respond, but *hugs* I think the picture must have been at an angle for Odette because the proportions aren't quite that bad in real life - oh well though. also, Hideto does look like himself, usually I just start off knowing who i'm drawing. actually it looks pretty close to irl color-wise now that it's posted. i'm personally somewhat proud of the folds, since i usually am not great at folds on shirts. all the practice pictures from clothing websites worked >:D I like Giselle and Odette, I need to finish the drawings I've done of Albrecht and The Prince from Cinderella. most of the colors on the star boba didn't come through, sadly. and for a relatively quick pencil sketch, I am very proud of Tev - it took me a while to figure out what ve looked like (mostly vis hair - wait now i don't remember how ve conjugates vis pronouns but eh we'll got with this. also a lot of my current characters use ve/ver??) and this was the one where i figured it out, and also I think the hair went well, and the picture captures vim well, not really vis personality, but just something about vim? idk. i'd have to explain a lot to explain why so i won't XD
also thank you for posting on LotS so much Celine - if nothing else I will write a short story with Ascella (that was comets name, right?), both because comet is a really cool character and because you always wrote the best comments XD now i'm writing comet instead of comment and comment instead of comet help
ohhh and the little star creature i drew is partially in Giselle's picture - i should post that one bc it's cool and i want to post it
