Art stuff thread starting...NOW! If you draw stuff, you can post it here! I draw in a sort of anime/manga/toon style, but if you don't, don't let that stop you from posting your stuff! I would love to see other people's art so post away! They can be OCs, fan art, or just random stuff. You can use any media, including digital, like I do! Just to let you chatterboxers know, I started this thread so we can share our tricks of the trade with each other. Feel free to: ask questions about how to draw certain things, post techniques, share art, and mostly HAVE FUN! If you draw your OCs, feel free to share information about them such as their names and that sort of thing. Same goes for fan art since not all of us know where these characters are from. You don't have to be polished with your art. I myself am just a beginner at anime/manga/toon. I'm not good at hands so if any of my hands looks particularly cruddy, you know why. I also struggle sometimes with feet so same goes for that. If any of you know how to draw a particularly good hand or foot, feel free to share your trick for it.

Here's a picturing of Leeli! It only took me 5 minutes to sketch and 5 to ink, I was so impressed with myself. And then like two days to get around to colouring. :P I always associate green with your name, I don't know why. I do that for every CBer actually: AW is blue, you're emerald green, and Quill is going to be purple. Does anybody else do that?

And, huh, yeah, I do associate colors with some CBers. Leeli has always been green to me as well, and AW blue. Fleet has a sorta rushing wind noise, but is also blueish. Leafpool is also green. Artimerrx is black and shadowy, Rogue is black and red.

And yeah, I associate colors with CBers too. I have mild grapheme-color synesthesia, so I actually associate colors with a lot of things; letters, numbers, names, words, mostly. Fidelity has always been green, a light green, but not extremely bright. Coyotedomino is black with a little red. AW is blue for me too, but the name Leeli has always been yellow, which is funny, because several people have said it’s green to them.

Allllright, here goes. So yesterday and on Friday, I drew a picture of Lara Croft from Tomb Raider! I'm pretty impressed with it, since I used to not be able to draw people from reference pictures--this picture I drew from an art book of Tomb Raider designs that we have. It took a lot of time, and I'm not absolutely satisfied with it, (there's too much contrast between the colors on her skin and everything, and I didn't have the right colors or materials to do a lot of it) but I still love it and I wanted to post a picture. There are actually four, and all except the bottom right are work in progress pictures.

Thank you! Actually a lot of it is watercolor paint wash and colored pencil, with a bit of acrylic thrown in there (as you can see with the messed-up white highlights) but I did use marker--for the base color of her tank top, for her necklace, for her bowstring, and maybe one other thing? I forget.
