You walk down

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

You walk down

You walk down the sidewalk to your mailbox. When you open it up you see a postcard from your aunt who lives in Hawaii, a bill for your parents, a magazine, and a letter with golden writing in a fine hand.  You take it out and see that your name is on the front. You tear it open and read

Dear Friend,

You have been selected from twenty others to come and spend the week in the newly opened library. It is a place full of magic and wonder that we are sure you will enjoy. Please pack a small bag but do not bring any books. They will be confiscated. Cbers, AEs and CAPATCHAs are welcome but only twenty can come.

Yours truly, Madame Librarian

P.S. We are not responsible for any injuries, deaths, or murders. Have a nice day.

You forget the last sentence and run inside to back your bags.

As you have gussed this is a Murder Mystery. And it takes place at a library. Only twenty people can come and AE'S and Capatchs are welcome. Please try to guess me.

I'm coming!

My Packing list:

Hair ties, lots of hair ties!

A kindle, if I can't bring books, I bring ebooks.

My AE Mrs E.

A small beaded handbag that may or may not be bigger on the inside.

My Captcha, Whistler.

Mrs E's Packing list:

Three ballgowns, two pairs of white lace gloves, one riding habit, one pair of riding boots, two pairs of formal shoes.

Mrs E. it's a library, not a ballroom, you don't need three ballgrowns!

Well, maybe there's a ballroom inside the library, my dear.

I doubt it.

Well dear, we know how much stock I put in your "doubts."

Fine, stay at home.

Do you mind if I throw a small party while your gone, a few Earls, a Duke or two...

I guess you can come. *sighs disheartedly*

Wonderful dear, absoulutely wonderful, now I'll be gone until tea time, I'm meeting one of my beaus, there's the carriage now.

MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Uh, I am bringing my iPad, my duct tape kit, a laser that can detect weird rays and stuff, and a secret light so I can read books at night!

Oh, and Nova is coming.

poo. Fine. Remember, I am a highly advanced robot from her third book that looks exactly and acts like a human!

Hooray. Please don't take over the world. It'd help if you learn emotions.

Machines cannot feel emotions!

You obviously haven't read my third boook . . .

So uh, she is packing, some robotic things? I told u my creativity is low.

And my CAPTCHA, Wubdub shall come. He's, I don't know, an inchworm?

It's good enough that I got this far.

I'd say machines can feel emotions, but that's probably just 'cause I've watched Star Trek: The Next Generation... Data.

Oh, good! A library! Even Spyro can't complain about that!

We're not going to have to whisper the entire time, are we?

I would hope not. But look! Read it! Magic and wonder and--

"We are not responsible for any injuries, deaths, or murders." Did you forget about that part?

Oh. Um... that's a bit odd. Well, I'm sure it's just for safety reasons.

Well, I'll come if you're going, because it sounds relaxing, but I hope we won't have to do too much reading. I can go for about an hour with a book and then my brain starts to short circuit from boredom.

---

H.A.B. is packing:

A kindle fire

A camera to document our time there

A spear, just in case

A hot glue gun

One and a half quarts of liquid nitrogen ("at least I think that's what it is")

A couple throat lozenges

And a stuffed cat

Spyro is packing:

A dart gun

A water pistol

A mandolin ("to beat someone over the head with, of course")

A box of donuts that will probably be stale by the time he gets there

A small sapphire amulet ("to fill me with determination")

A bottle of some undetermined substance which he simply calls "soul juice"

And a roll of tinfoil for some reason

---

Dolphin will also be coming. She is not packing anything and will rely on the library to provide sustenance. For the most part, she's just going to sleep in her tank.

Zaar!

Dolphin, we're going to a library, not a bazaar!

Coming! Can't for the life of me figure out who you are, though. I'm bringing:

•Sketchpads (technically, they aren't books...)
•Assorted pencils
•Money to buy stuff at the gift shop (come on, every decent library has one XD)
•A pair of wings
•My journal of strange happenings
•Russet Libris La'Verne Dracora, my Æ (just call it Russ for short and keep in mind that it only speaks in book quotes.)
•Eo-Lahallia, my half-Æ-half-CAPTCHA
•My stuffed red panda
That's it! Hope to see you there!

Is this going to be like Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's library, only with murders?

Hello. I join. I am bringing my CAPTCHA, Micna, but not my AE. She's on probation for a week and is not allowed to participate in Ski Lodges anytime soon, except for the one she's already in...and she's proved to be much trouble in that one.

*Grace enters*

Hmph. I hate that I only get to post as an independent ghost on the Amusement Park Thread. On this thread, I have to barge into your comments. At least when I;m a ghost, I'm free.

But then again, I AM alive, so I guess that's an advantage.

Still...

*face grows red, fists tremble*

THIS PROBATION IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!! WHY CAN'T I COME? YOU ARE SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!

Grace, you just aren't coming.

I hate you!!!!!!!!

*pause*

Fine then, be that way.

*stomps off*

Phew. I'm surprised she let off so fast.

*The sound of a drawer opening is heard, followed by the sound of crumpling paper, followed by the sound of the bathroom door opening.*

What the- no, Grace!

*runs away*

Not my journal!

*toilet flushes*

GRAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this is kinda based on Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Oh have you read the second one? It is really good.

So that is everybody and I will start tomorrow. I can't guarantee that I will post every day (and I know I probably can't but...)

I figured as much. I love Lemoncello's Library! It's awesome! What was the second one? I know it has Xiang Libris's island, but can't remember the title. I did read it, though! Kind of scary, but good. I enjoy Chris Grabenstein's work. Oh nevermind... Libris's Island was a different series.
