Event 2: Prompted Short Stories.
Participants: We don't actually have a list for this one.
Story Theme: Something Odd on New Years Day
Rules: These stories must begin with one of the prompts below, with a maximum of 350 words. Using the charries from the First Event is encouraged, but not required. When you enter you should state what team you are in just to clarify.
Promts:
As the clock struck midnight.....
Yawning, ------ snuck out of the building, guided only by the full moon in the New Year's sky.
------- peered around the park in the faint dawn light and spotted......
Excitedly popping out of bed, ----- dressed quickly. It was New Year's!
Please tell me if I need to add more prompts! Also a question for Will or Scylla, can I judge this event since I am running it?

I'm doing the best I can to get mine done, but first of all, I haven't had much inspiration lately, and second of all, I've been busy. Tomorrow in one of my classes I get a Writing Day, so I'll do the best I can to get it done then.

OK JUDGES!!!! I think that we are only really waiting for Poetic Panda's entry, so after she posts you can go ahead and start to judge. After everypne has judged, I will go through the other event threads and list each person's points, and all the points for each team.

Ok, I will add scores for HSG and Poetic Panda if they post by the end of this weekend, but if they don't, sorry, but they won't be included.
Micearenice: 9. I like how you kept true to the real world, but also Hazel's confusion suggest that she is like from a different world.
Curio: 10. I am SUCH a fantasy writer it's not even funny, so I LOVE how you kept it totally real, but wrote it in a way that it seems interesting and kinda draws you into the story's world.
Amber: 7. I like the idea of stopping time, but I think it's a bit too dark and unfinished for my taste.
Abigail: 8. This story is another one of those awesome ones with reality mixed with a bit of something else, this time a bit of sci-fi.
Shadow Dragon: 9. Call me cyborg biased because of the Lunar Chronicals, but this is soooo amazing! I love how you made sure to capture how the cyborg parts influence Fatell.
OtR: 8. One word. MERLIN MERLIN MERLIN!!!!! Eeeeeeee!! He is awesome, and I have read so many awesome books with him in it! I also like how you set it up so you almost need more of the story.
Jarvis: 9. I really like how you add a bit of mystery to the events before the story happens, and if I needed to choose a charrie to live as it would probably be Raoul. Call me nuts, but he's just cool.

So this is my judging so far:
Micearenice~Very descriptive! I could picture the scene in my mind. 8 out of 10.
Curio~I LOVED it! It quirky in a good way, and it made me laugh. 9 out of 10.
Amber~Very creative, but it made me sad. 7 out of 10.
Abigial S~I loved it! It had a super creative plot idea! 9 out of 10
Shadow Dragon~Great plot idea, I would not have expected that. 7 out of 10.
OTR~AWESOME character! Loved it! 8 out of 10.
Jarvis~Creative and unexpected setting and character! I loved it, 8 out of 10.
I will post more later if anyone else posts their stories.

I have totally not had time to write mine, and haven't had very much inspiration to write. Looks like I'm going to drop out of this one.

I'm going to post my judge ib info later this evening, don't give up on me! I'll start the next event. It'll be probably an upcontest. This will be decided by team members. I'll explain more later, but if anone is wanting to head it up instead, you can. Otherwise, l do it. Tally no!
