CALLING ALL ACTORS
Chatterbox: Pudding's Place
CALLING ALL ACTORS
CALLING ALL ACTORS AND ACTRESSES!
Ok, so I noticed that there are a lot of actresses/actors that read Cricket magazine and so I wanted to start a thread where we can ask advice, give advice, make cheesey references to musicals, and chat about our roles! If you're feeling like bragging about your roles . . .

So apparently we're not doing Mary Poppins anymore... we're doing Willy Wonka. I'm still happy with the choice of plays, though!

Are you a girl or a boy, Joss? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that name.
(November 3, 2015 - 10:55 pm)
It's OK! I'm a girl. My actual name is Jocelyn, Joss is just my nickname.

Oh man! I adore acting, especially musicals. I've been in quite a few Missoula Children's Theater plays, and a couple ballets. Let's see how many I can remember...
Missoula Children's Theater:
Tales of Hans Christian Andersen, I believe I was a flower
Treasure Island, Naughty Seagull
Little Red Ridinghood, Raccoon
Jack and the Beanstalk, Acrobat
The Princess and the Pea, Phoney Princess
Pinocchio, Blue Fairy (I had a singing solo!)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Magic Mirror
The Little Mermaids, Delia the oldest of the mersisters
Ballets:
The Nutcracker, Party Girl and Soldier
The Nutcracker, Maid and Poppy
Coppelia, Village Girl (I was almost Swanhilda, but I was unable to participate in enough practices)
XD yup. Thus has been my acting career so far. I'm actual thinking about going into musical theater as a career, what do you guys think?

Oh my gosh I've been considering it too!! If you want to do it, I think you should go for it!
(November 16, 2015 - 3:33 pm)
Thanks Joss! I have to say it looks like it would be a ton of fun. :) You should totally look into it too!

I'm so excited! Right now, I'm doing The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and I'm director/producer/actor, and I'm in the middle of doing Charlie Brown's Christmas as Lucy! I have another play coming up in the spring, and I've been in two dozen plays/musicals in the past three or four years. I love love love theatre!!!!!
Well, as they say on TV, the fact that you realize that you need help indicates that you are not too far gone.
Best line in Charlie Brown other than Linus' monologue at the end.
At school, I'm in a scriptplay thingy where we write a play and perform it. The one we have now is hilarious!
I've got to go hurridly finish Nano. I'm off!
