Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Important Ski Lodge

Important Ski Lodge Paraphenalia

No, I lied. It's not important, I just wanted to make you look.

1. Important Announcement (for real this time): All alternate egos have been retracted. Sorry. I don't have an issue with AEs, but the number of people in this ski lodge is very high. I don't want to exclude any people from joining, so let's keep imaginary and non-imaginary friends to a minimum. That's very important. Friendship is not allowed in a ski lodge. It might encourage silliness, and we can't have any of that.

2. Schedule Update: I start junior year at some point in early August (13...? Idk yet). Once school starts, a day will appear every two days, for reasons of suspense and my grades.

3. Extras: Coming soon to theater and DVD, we have a lovely list of minor characters with extremely informative descriptions, a floorplan of the ski lodge so you can see what I'm doing in my head (bet you ten bucks I violate five times in the first day), and a photo of the Sugarbowl in all its glory so you may fall to your knees in the sheer glory of it.

4. Random Questions: You guys have any questions that need answering? Leave them here. Anything goes. Even if not ski lodge related, I will answer. I'll even help you with your math homework if you need it.

5. REQUESTS: Caps locked for your viewing pleasure. If there's anything you want to see in this year's ski lodge, as long as the Admins approve it, go ahead and tell me. Anything and everything shall be put in. Come on people, I need ideas. There's so many of you.

6. Fanart: Your death order is decided by how much I like the pretty pictures you draw me. It's the absolute truth, I swear it. Theo drew a smashingly good drawing earlier (thanks, Theo), so if anyone else wants to draw a picture (I firmly deny that I am begging for handouts), then I would love you and maybe give you a good dying quote.

I don't think I'll even post this final list. I think I'm going to try to get a Chatsy account, and if you pick a song you need lyrics for, I'll tell you on there. I'm sorry. I'm going coo coo and overboard. Whatever you say. You're, what, 3 years older than me? At least. You make the rules. I'm all ears. I'm not mad at you. Why would I be? You're amazing! I guess I'll post it. You know what? I'll just tell you the song titles. Come In With the Rain, Highway Don't Care, Safe and Sound (of course Savvy already told you that one), and Today Was a Fairytale. I'm sorry I showed off. I'm a little almost teen who's defintely got a lot more mistakes left in her. The list was more for my purpose. Anyway, no need to cheer me up, because I'm not sad. I totally understand this is hard work. I tried doing something similar once! It's nice to have a conversation with you, though, T.O.N. Please use the randomizer if you wish. I still like surprises. Anyway, have nice day. I'm glad we have my part of the problem solved.

Oh, and I forgot You're Not Sorry and The Way I Loved You. Undecided

Oh, and as for which day I'll sing... I'd prefer the first day because knowing me, the next day, I'll be dead.

Oi, Ruby, how much does your head hurt from all this? You're probably about to collapse. Either that, or you're Superman and by some supernatural force you can still function properly. Ha, if I was in your place, I bet my mustache that my family would find me passed out on the computer from all the strain. But then again, you've got more experience. *shrugs* ...aaannddd I've not the slightest idea why I'm here. No important questions, so g'bye. *tips non-existent top hat, grabs a cookie, and runs from Ruby's glaring countenance*

*finishes listening to The Story of Evil*

T.O.N., you have awesome-- AWESOME-- taste in music.

It was not too dark for me (I am not very easily put off by darkness) but it was SAD. I mean, after I finished listening to "Kept Waiting for a Response," I was crying. The Story of Evil is quite good.

@Ellie: It didn't seem like you were showing off. I admire your dedication to create a list like that. Thanks for giving a shorter list of songs. I can consult these lyrics and add them to the appropriate days. Thanks for your cooperation.

@Savvy: That's pretty talented, considering no one has ever died on Day 2 before.

@Mustache Girl: I've been preparing over these past two months, which is why I'm not dying from the load yet. Almost, but not quite.

@Somebody: Oof. To be honest, i don't like the songs at all. Those are not any indicator of my taste in music. I like the overarching storyline, which contains much more than Story of Evil. The novels are the real interest, and that is where it becomes not very appropriate for kids. Technically, Kept Waiting for a Response isn't canon, by the way.

Uh, T.O.N., that wasn't a shorter list. that was me making it longer. I want you to use the randomizer, all right?

Okay, so I worked out the Ski Schedule:

Day 1: The CBers meet up and get to the lodge.

Day 2: The CBers settle into the lodge.

Day 3: The lodge shows it's not kidding around. The staff disappears, the CBers get snowed in, and JLM is found.

Day 4: First death!

Days 5 to next to last: People die and the CBers have hilarious misadventures.

Next to last: T.O.N. drops most of the humorous manner and takes on an ominous, eerie one. The ghosts, JLM, assasins, and basically everyone but the last two CBers alive are gone. One is the murderer, the other is simply the last victim. They have an epic sword fight (or just a fight with sword-like implements). The murderer wins and with an evil grin on their face describe how they murdered everyone before killing off the last person. They go home on the bus.

Last day: The murderer is asleep in early morning when the assasins and ghosts sneak into their room. It is revealed that the murderer was being possesed or something similar by the lodge, and the murderer is killed by the assassins, usually through lethal injection.

Dear Chatterboxers,

We'd like to let you know that we've received a message from T.O.N. that he will be unable to write the new Ski Lodge mystery. He is very sorry.

We are most appreciative of the creative and entertaining stories he's written for Chatterbox in the past and which you can continue to reread and enjoy.

Many of you are talented writers, and we look forward to enjoying all your contributions to Chatterbox.

Le sigh. That pretty much describes how I feel. I have never been in a Ski Lodge before and was very much looking forward to this one. But I guess I can understand the dedication and time. Tell T.O.N. we hope to have him visit every now and then!!!

Wait, is this true, or is someone pretending to be the Admin here?

It is true that T.O.N will be unable to post a new mystery.

I found the proof on the other thread. Admins, tell Ruby I understand. And that I'm sorry to overwealm him. I was just about to make a smaller list. I tried something similar myself. It took me about an hour to type it in. Plus, with all the work that Ruby gets, it's way harder. I'm sorry, Ruby, that you couldn't write this one. I understand. We love you, Ruby. thanks for stopping by. We appreciate it.
