How To Train
How To Train Your Dragon 2!!!!
I don't know if anyone else has been as excited as me to see this, but I have been HUGELY excited for this! I LOVED the first HTTYD, and was monsterously excited to see this one. So my parents consented to go the premiere. YAY! Let me tell you, I was GEEKING. OUT.
I'm still in a post-movie coma, but I won't spoil. Gotta say though, it was really shocking. Like, REALLY shocking. I laughed and cried, and was pretty much utterly ruined by the end of the movie.
Just, yeah, wow. It'll take me some time to recuperate.
So, anyone else in the HTTYD fandom?

Camacazie is nuts, not very sensible, and not to mention reckless. But she is awesome. For one, she would totally agree that dragons rule and crushes are sort of ridiculous to an extent. She has a belt full of weapons and still manages to make no sound when freeing Hiccup and Fishlegs or something. The pictures of anyone in the books are ugly, no offense to Cressida Cowell.
Astrid obviously has the hots for Hiccup, and she likes dragons, but we know how Hiccup is tied into that. There is no Bog Burgler tribe in the movie, which is sad. They are hilarious. "You can never keep a Bog Burgler under lock and key." In the movie, Astid would have sat in a tower waiting for Hiccup to rescue her, where as Camacazie would have scaled the wall immediately. (She would be shot down, but why would she care) Plus, Vallaharamma is a chub in the books. Hiccup was the first to really get to the dragons. (Not really, but Vallaharamma didn't in the books) Alvin is also pretty skinny. He is not even a barbarian! (He is, but he was one of the crazy guys)
What is on the outside doesn't matter. Even Mayrlin Monroe had her secrets, and she was pretty darn pretty.

True but wrong on one point camicazi is to one point awsome BUT! Astrid would NOT wait in a tower for hiccup to rescue her. if you watched the movie and the cartoons you would know that Astrid is the best at fighting of all the dragon riders plus she is the second best dragon rider after hic up and knows how to train dragons second best after hiccup and when she does happen to get captured which is not often then she imeadiatly tries and succeeds to escape she does not wait to be rescued that is a downright LIE! besides hiccup and astrid are ussualy just friends too each other mostly astrid is hiccups best friend so no romance over load. yay!by the way Astrid also carries weapons she never goes anywhere without her axe plus she also hates girly things. she is my favorite carachter because she is an awsome fighter and rides my favorite dragon a deadly nadder called stormfly and i can tell you right now that astrid saves hiccup and the others more than they ever saved her. wait......... she never needed saving! she got captured once by Alvin in Riders of Berk and she escaped without hiccups help on a monstrous night mare she trained! and the bonous that astrid is pretty is awsome!so magic dragon you and i have been having a pretty heated up debate on here and i have more! any more comments!?good i just wanted to clear up your "little" mistake thank you very much

I saw it on Saturday! I loved it! It was almost as good as the first one.
SPOILER ALERT

I couldn't believe Hiccup's mother was in it!
END SPOILER
I <3 it!
(June 25, 2014 - 4:42 pm)
I saw it yesterday (at last) with my friend who was always trying to read the books before me. Unfortunally, I have a policy of owning every one in hardcover, so he has an advantage.
It was a good movie. I enjoyed it very much. SPOILERS
It was sad when Hiccup's father died, but my younger cousin told me over email a couple of hourse before the show. That was okay, though.
Who is this Astrid person? Who is the Hiccup person? Who are ANY of these people? *Sigh...* It's really good, it's just not ANYTHING like the books. In the books (Spoiler if you haven't read them) there is a retelling about Hiccup's mother where she was killed in battle or something. I can't remember, it was a long time ago. Throughout the whole movie, even as I was letting things go, I don't think I ever really accepted that that lady was Hiccup's mother. I mean, I suppose I did. She's movie Hiccup's mother.
Also the age thing really bothered me. "Twenty years ago" they always said, meaning that Hiccup and his friends are twenty years old. They certaintly don't look twenty, nor act it. My mother pointed out that twenty is just a year out of teenagedom, so I suppose she has a point.
A third movie? I will watch it. This is how I accepted the second one, and it was really good, but A THIRD MOVIE? Both Hiccup and Toothless have become the alpha-males. There's not much left to tell. Unless you want to start telling the story like the way the books are going, and you probably DON'T. Just because the books are getting darker and darker.
End Spoilers.
Overall, I liked it, though. There were a few parts where I felt sad, a few parts where I felt like laughing, and it was very good (a little bit to my suprise). I had my expectations set low and when it was wonderfully done, I was very happy.

Okay I've got something to say to you! Who is this Astrid person? She is only the best character of them all! I doubt Dreamworks will put something as insane as the books in their awsome movies thankfully!
(September 26, 2014 - 11:53 am)
Unfortunately, I have still not seen this movie. I saw Transformers Age of Extinction though since my brother likes transformers. I do, too, but it was ok. I liked the first two better. And I really, really want to see Jersey Boys though it's rated at R for cussing. I just can't get "Dawn Go Away" "Big Girls Don't Cry" "Who Loves You" and basically the whole album out of my head. Dawn, go away I'm no good for you! See, I'm doing it now. I seem to be one of the only kids my age who sings Four Season songs :P

I thought I was the only one who knew about it. I'm so happy there are people out there who know a good..............
Let me rephrase that........... AWSOME movie when they see one.
There is not a day ever I don't say the words hiccup astrid toothless dragons, I memorized all the classes (stoker, tidal, mystery, fear, strike, and my favorite sharp class!). I am the world's biggest fan. Test me. I know all about it! Comment if you like.
DRAGONS RULE!!!!!!!
(September 25, 2014 - 8:57 pm)
Wow I know that movie totaly ROCKS! It's sooooooooooo unexpected.
*SPOILER ALERT*
I was so sad when Stoick dies. Toothless didn't mean it but I dont blame Hiccup for geting mad at him. At first my sister really did not like Hiccup; she thinks he is slighly concieted and overconfident.
P.S I dont agree but I really like Astrid so no surprise there.
P.S 2 By the way why is your name Blonde Heroines Rule? I'm mot complaining; I'm blonde myself ........
Just Wondering....
(September 26, 2014 - 11:24 am)
I loved it! We saw it premiere day! I was deep-geeking (a word my mom and I made up, it means geeking out basically!)
SPOILERS!
*Starts sobbing*
*Crying*
*sniff* *sniff*
He
died! Stoke really died! So he had a dead mom his hole life untill he
was 20, and now will have only a mom! It wasn't Toothless fault!!
*Faints dramatically*
* Cries *
Now Toothless is THE Alpha dragon!
SPOILERS END!

@ Dragon Girl: I'm glad you're a fan of the movie, but Theo was merely stating her opinion. (Theo admitted to being a girl. She used to go by Lexi sometimes as well, though fell to using Theo more. Theo is the name of one of her favorite book characters.) I admit I haven't gotten a chance to read the books yet, so Theo was merely stating the differences, and what she liked and didn't like. I've heard from more than one source that the movies are quite different from the books (which is often the case) and I myself usually abide my the rule of "Books first movie second" though in this case I wasn't able. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and mind, Theo DID say she enjoyed the movie, it was just quite different from the books, and it was a bit hard for her to adjust to the drastic differences.
As to my name, I go by Blonde Heroines Rule for multiple reasons. One, I never give out my real name, age, or any personal information on the internet. Two, it holds meaning behind it for me. I've always hated the stereotype "dumb blonde". Not because it was offensive directly to me, but because it was frankly cruel injustice. People, whether conciously or not, judge others and immediately fit them into a certain type or class on first sight basis. Blondes are often judged to be dumb, shallow, or just twits. This absolutely infuriates me! I'd also noticed that there were very few blonde heroines. I got the main idea to call myself this when I read Percy Jackson and the Olympians and read about Annabeth. She was the main inspiration. So the name came about because I want people like me to know we are not and don't have to be what the world commands. I am my own person. I am smart, and I'm not some shallow diva. As a matter of fact, I'm somewhat tomboy, I detest makeup, boys drive me nuts, and I'd much rather go to a nerd convention or gamestore than clothes or shoe shopping. So thus, I call myself Blonde Heroines Rule.

@BLONDE HEROINES RULE
Ok!Ok! Sorry Theo my apologies. I am blonde myself. OK then! I have read no less than 893 medium-size chapter books in my lifetime for real. I have four bookshelves full of books. I've read every one! I hardly ever watch movies too! I admit to going overboard with the dramatism still I appologised did I not? Still thanks for pointing out my mistake. I have overactive temper; it drives me up the wall.
P.S @ Theo W. once again I was dreadfull Really sorry I tend to get heated up.
P.S 2 @ BLONDE HEROINES RULE I am also a complete tomboy. I know what you mean about boys and shoes and shopping and makeup.
P.S 3 Iwas not asking for your personal info. My other name I use on Cricket (Isabella A.) is fake too, so I know exatly what you are talking about thank you.
(September 26, 2014 - 6:59 pm)
@ Dragon Girl: No worries! I have an overactive temper too! (And it drives me insane as well.) Plus, we fangirls tend to let the claws come out when it comes to our fandoms, no? But I've been talking to Theo for a long time on and off the CB, and she's a fantastic! I'm sure you'll like her. Anyways, I'm a reader too! I've read just as many if not more, and I envy you the four book shelves! I have only one tiny nook to put my books. (You can imagine my consternation.)
Hehehe, nice to meet another tomboy! There are too few in this world.
Oh, and I didn't figure you were asking for personal info. I just like to keep the fact that I don't supply it out there, simply so no one ever gets offended if I can't tell them something, you know?
Anyways, no harm done! And it's AWESOME to meet such a big HTTYD fan!
(September 26, 2014 - 8:31 pm)
Geez thanks! You are pretty nice for an online anonymous person :D
Heartfelt thanks from Dragon girl
(September 26, 2014 - 9:32 pm)
Aw, *blushes* thank you! You're awful nice too! I like to be kind and supportive where and whenever I can. The world and life can be mean and cruel enough as it is, we don't need to add to it.
