How To Train Your Dragon 2!!!!
I don't know if anyone else has been as excited as me to see this, but I have been HUGELY excited for this! I LOVED the first HTTYD, and was monsterously excited to see this one. So my parents consented to go the premiere. YAY! Let me tell you, I was GEEKING. OUT.
I'm still in a post-movie coma, but I won't spoil. Gotta say though, it was really shocking. Like, REALLY shocking. I laughed and cried, and was pretty much utterly ruined by the end of the movie.
Just, yeah, wow. It'll take me some time to recuperate.
So, anyone else in the HTTYD fandom?

I loved the first one, too! I saw a preview of the 2nd one, and it looks awesome! Did you know that Hiccup finds his mother? I saw that in the preview.

Yes i know isnt it the awsomest movie ever i am nuts for it did you know that dreamworks and cartoon network made a cartoon series in 2013-2014? the cartoon cararcters are still teens not young adults likehow to train your dragon 2 i taped it on the computer! i try to whatch it every day i know what heppens in the seccond movie but have not whatched it yet *SOB SOB SOB SOB SOB* i beged my parents but i am waiting till it comes out on november 10 on blu-ray and dvd

Of course I'm in the HTTYD fandom :D *high fives* But not as actively since nothing has happened for a few years. And now the second movie has come out yaay!! I need to see this so bad! And Hiccup (and everyone) are older *faints*

I saw the movie and it was incredible! I love the older Hiccup. Toothless is still hilarious (augh, you know that doesn't wash out!) and...

Yes! Toothless is still ADORABLE! I want a Toothless so bad. And Astrid just rocks still. (Yes, I'm a big Astrid/Stormfly fan). Hiccup is also really funny!

I know, I cried SO HARD. I was bawling in the theater. What really broke me was when they fired the arrows, and the boat holding his body burned. I mean, oh man, that was heart wrenching. And then when Hiccup became chief of Berk, Toothless became Alpha? Cue the tears again.
I admit though, I left the theater feeling a little empty. I mean, it was just so nerve wracking. It built up, and then you're just like "HUH?! WAHT?! NO. STOP. Go back, right now, it can't end. IT. CAN'T. END. LIKE. THIS!!!!!

This post is going to have a lot of spoilers in it, because I can't help myself. Also a severe amount of fandragon-ing. You have been warned.
Yeah, the ending felt a little empty, but I liked how Toothless destroyed the Bewilderbeast and became alpha.
I also thought the backstory between Hiccup and his mom was amazing, and that for twenty years, she had just been staying there, taking care of all those dragons.
The graphics were really well-done, too; I can't stand movies with a good plot but bad graphics. They put a lot of nice details on the dragons, like Toothless' newfound spikes on his back.
Yeah, it was a really great movie, I can't wait for the third! They said it was coming out in 2016!

I liked how he became Alpha! It was amazing! Especially when he started glowing blue.
I thought that was amazing too. It just explained so much about how Hiccup was the way he was. (Btw, I checked when I saw the first movie, he does, in fact, have the scar that his mother recognizes him by.)
I agree. I loved the graphics and the detail of the dragons! Especially the Bewilderbeast. That was AMAZING!

Hold on here...
THEY ARE MAKING A THIRD ONE???????!!!!!!!!! Holy cow! I have not seen the movie yet, but I've read the books. Has anyone else read the books? My only complaint is that the movie did not follow the books AT ALL. (surprise, surprise) One of my friends is all geeked out about HTTYD... (I am, but not as much.)

i hate the books i applaud Cressidia Crowell for coming up with the idea of toothless hiccup fishlegs snotlout and so on but really the books are as TOTALY WACKY as alice in wonderland and the illistrations YEGH! SO ugly prove me wrong oh by the way why in the world did cressidia Crowel not MAKE ASTRID! My favorite catacter! the movie ROCKS who cares about the books! ASTRID RULES the movie would be terrible without her and stormfly still Cressidia Crowel invented the base for the best movie on the face of the earth.
P.S did you know Astrids name means Divine Beauty in northern germanic SO TRUE!

My opinion : Camicazi is nuts, not very sensible, and the pictures of her are ugly. I am honoured to have an opinion thank you very much so Astrid is certainly NOT like her. I knew someone was going to bring Camicazi in the mix. Anyway you are allowed to have an opinion so I cant yell at you for saying Astrid's name is dumb even though it's NOT!
