Nice! Say, is that Darth Vader I see through the page there?

Hello, all! Sorry I've been missing for the past... however long it's been. I don't know, you probably didn't even notice I was gone. Anyway, I've been kind of slammed with things to do and you might not hear from me a lot. A few examples: I recently got a tadpole (I named it Raamat, which is Estonian for 'book'), started listening to the soundtrack of Hamilton for the first time, and have been drawing enough to hurt my hand from rubbing the ink and graphite off of it for a school art show and a request from one of my teachers. Summer vacation starts in a week, though, so hopefully I can catch up on everything then. Expect to see the Davie and Voliance ship drawings by Wednesday. Best of wishes, and keep drawing!

YAY!

Actually, I noticed, but I didn't want to say anything in case you would feel pressured or something. YESYESYES you started listening to Hamilton! What's your favorite song so far? I hope your school art show and tadpole adventure go well. I will look forward to Wednesday!

I actually like it when I know people notice me. Pressure happens when they notice too much. I don't know any of the names of the Hamilton songs, but I do like King George's chorus and most of the songs in the first part. I also love Lafayette and the Schuyler sisters just in general. Angelica is crazy awesome, wicked smart, and she loves Eliza so much, and Eliza is so sweet and loyal and caring. I would have liked to see/hear more about Lafayette, like how exactly did he end up going to New York, and what did he do when he got back to France? He seemed interesting, but the writer didn't do that much with him. I'm going to go listen to the soundtrack again, or actually I'll see if I can find a video of a full performance and watch that. It's amazing.

Of course we missed you Viola?!! I'm happy to hear about your tadpole. My school has already let us out, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life. It seems so weird not to come home and do homework 24/7.

Thank you! I suppose you could do Kyngdom, or read webcomics (Johnny Wander is cute and modern with short fiction stories mixed into the autobio, Stand Still, Stay Silent is awesome, set in post-apocalyptic Scandinavia and refreshingly free of romance, Blindsprings is alternate universe and full of pretty things and magic, and all are beautiful and free), or read books (I can recommend so many books), or try being nocturnal (which I did last summer, it was fun except for that I had to be really quiet all the time), or draw all day (and post everything here so we can all heap mountains of praise on you), or go swimming (mmm, water. Mmm, lack of self-consciousness), or memorize Hamilton, or write a lot, or do music, or just relax.

Hm, that's kind of a lot. Maybe it's just that I've been stockpiling ideas.

Congratulations! Also, it's okay, I have a lot of enthusiasm myself because 1. Hamilton! and 2. I've been reading Namesake in snatches for the past few days, and it has given me possibly some of the most intense feels I have ever experienced from reading a webcomic.

WATCH GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Seriously though, you should. Especially if you have nothing to do - it's a great show to binge watch.

Is it on Netflix? My wifi's been a little sketchy lately, but if it's on Netflix I'll try to get the TV to connect.

XD Where are you? I'll get caught up as soon as I can. Also, I just discovered that people online have made Hamilton animatics, so I've been watching a lot of those, especially the ones by szin. They're awesome.

I did miss you! Shadow's author is also gone for a while. I guess the first couple weeks of summer is when people have the most stuff going on.

Thanks! I think you're right, this does seem to be a pretty busy time. Not to pry, but do you know when shadow's author is coming back? I've missed her.
