Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

Yes! Of course I still get Cricket! Except, I can't really say "still" because I only have, maybe about 6 issues. For someone this new, though, I would venture to say that I have jumped in quick.

Hi Everyone. This is Moonshadow. I haven't been on much lately. I was on a long time ago, then slowly disappeared. I've kind of been avoiding Kyngdom bc I know you've done a lot while I was gone. So it's probably going to get really confusing for me. Could someone please tell me what's going on? A quick sum up would be nice. Thanks. :-)

Hi Moonshadow! I'm not sure what happened with the Power of Fin, but I do know some other stuff. Basically, BIG was overthrown by the SOCS (Society of Concerned Scientists) and is being used by Catastrophe to create an Army of brainwashed mutants to fight for him. Many of the mutants have managed to escape, though. I'm one of them. There was a huge battle at the desert city of Aslahari, and Catastrophe won, claiming the town. Elliot of Sailhaven has gone completely mad, and in his insanity has decided to join forces with Catastrophe, and is helping him create a bioweopon that turns humans and humanoids into scions (metallic bug-like creatures). A Resistance was formed by the escaped mutants, and some others, who wanted to rebel against Catastrophe. Alexander the Bat (founder of the Animals and one of the founders of the Resistance) was killed, and the group the Animals is run by the bat Zhoulc, who is against both the mutants and Catastrophe. There was another battle at the Bog and Burrow, and I'm sad to say the Inn didn't make it. It has been burned to the ground by Catastrophe and his army. Meanwhile, another branch of the Resistance, the Elves Resistance, has started preparing for the next battle of the war. They have set up a boot camp somewhere in the woods of Eastern Kyngdom open to anyone who wants to fight against Catastrophe. The Admins are working on the next Power, and other than that we're pretty much up to speed. If you want to, I recommend reading the following threads for more help:

I've said this probably ten times at least, but I'm working on an update for the Story So Far thread. I think it'll be done soon, but I'm not sure when. Almost definitely by Monday.

I have a few questions.
1- If I make a RP can other people comment? I mean if I were to make one after the change.
2- Is there a map of all of Kyngdom (including every little town and nook and cranny)? If so, can I print it out?
3- Has someone made a map of Kyngdom showing were every battle has been and when the battle was?
Admins----pppplease answer my questions!
1. I believe Kyngdom does not accept reply comments anymore, but you can create an RP on another section of Chatterbox, such as Inkwell or Pudding's Place, where others can reply.
2. No complete map that I know of. I think we may have posted small sections drawn by readers, but you'd have to hunt for it.
3. No, I don't think so.

OMK Nahina you have some really good ideas! Can someone work on those? If you can give me the info, I can maybe work on the battle one...

We should work together and put up a map. If we make a lot of progress and complete the map, we might could ask the Admins if they could make a section for the map. BTW I love making maps and drawing homes. I do it all the time so it won't be a problemo.

How do you post on the Kyngdom page? That's the one thing I'm confused about. I really want to know if there is a special link to send your story/question/comment to the kyngdom page. I legitimately do not know, having just started using Chatterbox.
Go to cricketmagkids.com/kyngdom then examine the list of threads. One to submit questions should be near the top of the list. Click on that or any of the other threads to explore the possibilities.

When I tried clicking on the "Story So Far" link, it said that the page could not be found. Why does this happen? It happens all the time, too.

Were is the Gryphon encounters page? Is it the same page as approach the gryphon from the story so far thread? If it is, there must be some weird glitch that causes the screen to say REQUESTED PAGE NOT FOUND. If you find it, Admins, it would not go unappreciated if you were to post a link for me and probably many others. (Hope I'm not alone!

Admins, I made a thread but it's not showing up on either the first pages or the last page. What happened to it? The first words are "notice' in capital letters with a lot of exclamation marks following it.
Everything we have in our queue should be posted. It might have been bumped to the back. See the directions for the search function below:
