POWER ORIGIN IDEAS
This thread's purpose is to contain theories and stories about how the Powers came about and what they could be- besides the Powers of Wing and Claw. I'll post my stories as soon as I come up with them.
Admin: After a week or two, we will create a poll so everyone can vote on which origin story they like best! We might even combine more than one story.

No offense, but I really don't appreciate you taking my idea away from me. I have never, ever been in the magazine, not even the Crowd-Sorcery, and that story was my one chance to actually make a difference at Cricket. And now you're writing a story to dominate, to override mine.
Maybe I'm just too overprotective of my ideas. Maybe I'm just offended too easily. I've always been like that and I hope you don't take it personally. You're an awesome writer and amazing contributor to the Chatterbox. But I will be upset if my story wasn't included in the combination, because I had the idea first.

I've got one, though it sounds weird, it's vital.
There should be a power of smarts or brain. Something that has to do with being smart because some animals depend on this a lot. For example, a human(yes, a human is an animal), a chimpanzee, a parrot, and probably a lot more such as a dolphin is smart too. I was thinking about a character(supporting moonshadow's idea of having them immortal and such) can be the creature of this, and raven which I call the raven of destiny. A trickster, can read minds, very wise, and knows a bit of the future.

I don't want to have a fight here. These stories have been changed like rumors over time and by many diffrent branches of the tree. There was only one true orgin, but lost in time. Every story has a bit of truth in it. Please, can we not fight?:( Admins, I think we should investigate every orgin story and try to find out which is truth and which is false. I some stories say it's heros the powers summon, but maybe it traps evil...
So here's my part of the story, but I don't know which part is true and which is false.

Once in the early world where only the gods, spirits, and other supernaturals lived, they had just created the first present day animals. There were some _______(fill in the blank with the amount of powers there are) villans that lurked in the group of the normals. They were then captured by the supernaturals and trapped in the powers, sealing them away from the world. The guardians guarded them so nobody would set them free.

Okay, then, even if we eliminate my idea, can I be mentioned as the person who came up with the idea of writing stories for the Origins? Or can I be mentioned as the person with the first idea?
Admin: If we decide to print the origin stories in Cricket your story will probably be a strong contender!

Do you guys/girls like my idea of the background story? What about this version of the flower story, how about there was a magical flower that grew with four peatles? And that the four killed it soon after taking the peatles so that no one else could have any power. Then with the powers they grew till they were ginormous, (and I meant to say Serpant with claws before. :)

Xiaolong/Lucy, how about a compromise. Your beloved Flower-Carrier, instead of being the sole origin of all the Powers, is the origin of only one, perhaps the Power of Fin because the Flower-Carrier is a mermaid. I think you should let others take control of the other Powers, and you should be satisfied with the one. We should only take responsibility for one Power each, perhaps one of our own creation, or one of another's. That seems fair.

A long time ago, when there were no creatures in Kyngdom yet, there lived six mystical beings. The first one was a Gryphon, the second was a Dragon, the third was a Sea Serpent, the fourth was a Pegasus, the fifth was a Winged Wolf, and the sixth and last creature was a (Claaws, what are you?) They ruled the land of Kyndom together, and for many years it was a wonderful place to live. Gryphon ruled the sky, Dragon ruled the land, Sea Serpent ruled the water, and at night Pegasus ruled the sky, Winged Wolf ruled the land, and (Claaws, what are you?) ruled the sea. One day they went up on a cliff which had a waterfall running down one side, and this was their special place where they lived and planned how to rule Kyngdom. They noticed something they had never noticed before. A flower glowing with magic that had six petals on it. They each took a petal, and instantly changed into a different animal. Gryphon turned into a bird, Dragon turned into a badger, Sea Serpent turned into a dolphin, Pegasus turned into a panther, Winged Wolf turned into a grey wolf, and (Claaws,what are you?) turned into ( Claaws, what do you turn into?) They relized that they possessed great power, and could switch between animal and their normal form. They knew that the good people/animals of Kyndom would need them again someday, when they retreated to their realm. And so each of the six creatures put their power in a hollow instrument that when played, had the power to summon them once again. They called these The power of Wing, The Power of Claw, The Power of Fin, The Power of Tail, The Power of Howl, and The Power of Tooth. They passed each of these down to a trustworthy animal of their kind (the kind that they could shift into) and so it has been passed down for generations. But there is one more part of the story that not many people know about. The sixth creature became greedy and wanted to rule the world itself. And so the Flower Carrier, the one other mystical being that existed, and the one to plant the flower, took the power of tooth from the creature and made it the power of darkness. The sixth creature was separated from the others, which only made its wrath the greater. It's darkness and greed for power has been growing for so long, that it could be unleashed at any time now. But as for the other powers, they have been safe in the hands of their guardians for eons, and will be until the time comes to activate them. The Power of Howl is called the power of howl, but technically is the power of voice. The power that gives all animals voice, for them to speak, bark, caw, yowl, and anything else. The Power of Tail is what gives all tailed animals their balance and for some their climbing abilities, The Power of Fin lets swimming animals swim fast and do thing with their flippers, The Power of Claw is what gives clawed animals the ability to fight or climb, The Power of Wing lets creatures fly and even flightless birds have power in their wings. But, The Power of Tooth used to help animals, but now has turned into an evil, a powerful evil that is pushing against all the good of the other powers. And some animals, have The Power of Darkness growing inside themselves even as we speak.

I want to share my story. It kind of goes against yours though..... I think that the Power of Hoof should replace the Power of Tail. The Power of Hoof is a unicorn.
