Andrej was not terribly concerned about his safety. He knew he would survive, that was enough for him, anyway. The Theri one was correct in fearing for her safety, and, Andrej admitted, should be lauded for her concern. He spoke loudly, that he might not be muffled. " We are at no surplus of choices. I fear we must dock regardless, yes?"

"I'm not sure," Theri said, picking up her binoculars. "The water is deep, but the dock looks really old and unstable. It might not be possible to safely dock.“

"We are at no surplus of choices. I fear we must dock regardless, yes?" Andrej said, his voice less muffled than before.

"True. I can install solar panels on the boat to collect energy, but we need to dock in order to do that. I hope all of you are decent swimmers if needed?" Koe said, half-joking. "Then we must carefully proceed to dock and do the necessary procedures."

I'm gonna try to join in here but I apologize in advance if I'm not super active! Also let me know if I need to change anything about my character. It's been like, almost five years since I was last active on Kyngdom so I'm not really an expert anymore lol.

Name: Ruslan Kvitun

Species: Homo Tenebris. This is a species I had created back in the day-- they're a species created by SOCS to be assassins, usually contracted to Catastrophe or the Black Skull (a crime family). They're humans combined with I think demon DNA. Which is funny because I basically managed to create tieflings without knowing what tieflings are. 

Job/Title: Head of security  (if this is ok!) He used to be a mercenary and decided to settle for a less dangerous and demanding job by running security for various organizations. The current one being SOCKS.

Age: 36-37ish.

Pronouns: He/him

Appearance: Tall, a little under six foot. Broad, generally muscular, but a bit on the slender side of the buff spectrum, so he's not actually as physically strong as he looks. Fair but somewhat tanned skin, a generally squarish face with a nasty scar over his right eye-- his right eye is also a fake glass eye. Sometimes he opts to wear an eyepatch to cover it. There's nerve damage there so his fake eye can't actually move when he wears it, it's just a cosmetic thing. Two long, ridged dark gray horns protrude from his skull, like gazelle antlers. He has short brown hair that's usually messy. Slightly pointed ears, and he has a thin gray tail with a sharp point on the end.

Personality: Dry sense of humor, largely aloof and abrasive. He's greedy and typically cares more about getting paid and saving his own hide than he does actually helping people. He takes his jobs seriously and has a sense of honor in the idea that he dislikes betraying his employers or the people he's working with, but a sufficient threat will convince him otherwise. He dislikes owing debts as well and lives by a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" philosophy. 

Area of scientific expertise: None, unless you consider military training a science. He doyes have some base knowledge of dark magics, though. 

Background: I think I accidentally explained this in the above sections, but an abridged version-- Ruslan signed up with the Black Skull when he was young to pay off debts his father had owed. In order to get access to higher paying jobs, he willingly agreed to go through the experimentation to become a Homo Tenebris. He accepted a contract to work for Catastrophe and found the experience of fighting in a war for a side he realized was becoming increasingly unforgivable that he left the Black Skull and the army as soon as his debts were paid off. Ever since, he's worked only for the Resistance or as a neutral party and avoids getting too involved with the war, still deeply affected by what he went through.

Other: I imagine him as a heavy smoker, which is probably a habit he picked up while in Catastrophe's Army.
